I was razzing Dusty for not mentioning you when you've helped so many people. Go back a few posts.

Our dsl provider is centry link. Our cable provider is wave broadband. With cable I can get internet for $20 a month for a year. I'm already with wave. They were just going to tranfer my service.

dear lord my gpu slot just got this :

must be freaking huge!! no matter what core setting or anything i try if i unpause the gpu slot the machine is unusable for anything else... mouse moves in jerks with long pauses between and cant even browse :( i let it run for half an hour and the client still cant even figure an eta to finish and it hasent even moved a tenth of a percent lol finally checked the log and it showed "3 out of 40000000 steps (0%)" wow
on a plus i got my tag today too yippie :D:D

I wish I could get that one more often. I keep getting 8xxx on my gpu and they're only worth around 1-2k. SMP slot deleted though and only going to average ~30k/day

Terry, I'll keep my fingers crossed that the manager will allow the trench digging. If not, check to see if CL has any promotions for new customers.

I'd "like" your post but tapatalk won't let me. :(

I switched from CL to wave a month ago so I doubt I would qualify as a new customer.

Terry, maybe they would give you a returning customer deal! Call them and tell them you'll come back to them if they can make it worth your while :)

I used to call my cc customer service when they would try to raise my interest rate. I'd tell them I had no need to keep the account if they raised my rate...worked every time.

I'll try that if I can't get cable. One problem with dsl...my pc is across the room from the phone jack. :(

That I don't know. My landlord put new phone outlet in my living room for me when I first got internet dial up. :D

The hole in the wall where your other phone outlet sounds goods though and a cheaper and easier idea if it would cost you. You might be able to do that yourself.

Not me but BF could do it. :D
