if i wasnt a vegetarian then maybe you might find a partridge there too!
dear getch you might not want to blame the Farts on the lack of analogs.
i know some pure vegians who do fart alot try taking a beno or other natural acid reducer might help. also might want to get checked for acid reflux which is why i vap now tobacco hurt my throat now. before i vapped i was an analog smokers and still had gas quite 3 months later was fenning and found vapping still have gas till i take my prevacide every day now its not so bad. on a side note my vegian friends have had to make up for lack of protien in there diets from meats and other soruces so maybe it is that as well

Nice to see someone with at least similar interests, I am a vegan :D (For those who don't know, vegan is much stricter than vegetarian - there is a difference).

I don't really get heartburn or gas very often, not saying you're wrong but I don't think it's because of vegetarianism/ veganism. It could be from swallowing while inhaling, leading to air/ PG/ whatever getting into the stomach.

Flatulence 8-o
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Flatulence
is the production of a mixture of gases in the digestive tract of mammals or other animals that are byproducts of the digestion process. Such a mixture of gases is known as flatus, and is expelled from the rectum in a process colloquially referred to as "passing gas" or "farting". Flatus is brought to the rectum by the same process which causes feces to descend from the large intestine. The noises commonly associated with flatulence are caused by the vibration of the .... sphincter, and occasionally by the closed buttocks.

Keep Vapin!

Ok, so back in my cigar smoking days, I used to get PG from a local pharmacy to use in my humidor. Sadly, that pharmacy got washed away in Katrina.

So I go out looking for PG now that I'm vaping. I ask 3 separate pharmacists for PG. All 3 point me to Mirilax. Mirilax is polyethylene glycol.
Now just so we're clear, I was not talking to some clerk, I was talking to the pharmacist. All 3 were major chains.

Got my PG in yesterday from juicyliquid.com.

Thought this fits.....

Hk, I'm not sure what to think. I smoked for 44 years, close to two packs a day. I'm now smoking my ecig almost constantly. I've been cigarette free now since mid-October - except for a few times when I've had tecnical problems with my ecigs. And I still do get terrible cravings the minute an atomizer starts to get wimpy on me.

But I posted the withdrawal symptoms list because I've seen so many people posting concerns that they have "symptoms" or side-effects from using ecigs - when I know from my own many quit attempts and from reading and research that many of the issues being discussed are in fact classic nicotine withdrawal symptoms.

I know there is a lot of concern posted for possible nicotine overdose here too, but we really don't know how much nicotine we're effectively getting from our eliquids, even the higher strengths. I've got to say my personal opinion is that we (or some of us at least) are getting a lot less nicotine than we might otherwise think from the numbers alone. I'm sure others might disagree, but I'm only listening to my body and my past experience on this.

Hope I did the qoute thingie right...I have been reading this thread with much interest as I just started vaping last week and within a day starting having terrible gas pain in my belly. I have been told in the past that I have Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and even spent 4 days in the hospital with a small-bowel obstruction which is NO FUN AT ALL, believe me. I rarely suffer this so-called IBS but began to suffer the symptoms within a day of using ecig...HOWEVER...coincidentally..the same day I also had eaten quite a large amount of fresh green beans and somewhat attributed this to the gas/bloating...(still not sure if that was the cause)...the original poster also mentioned being a vegetarian......I had some activated charcoal capsules handy which I have learned will soak up excess gas and I took a few (4) of these and also took 2 extra of my stool softner caps and overnight was able to have a large BM and got relief from my symptoms. I am glad to see the post regarding withdrawal symptoms as I will be watchful for that and not be so alarmed if I experience these symptoms. I appreciate this discussion very much as this can be a very painful matter. Thanks.

Here's a wonderful product. You'll never know how good you could feel until you've tried this. It's a pretty gross website, but it's a fact of life. ;)

Best Colon Cleansing and Body Detox Programs

Hi RatPack, have you used the above mentioned product?
There are lots of great testimonials and then always others saying it is a scam. I think it is a good idea for everyone trying to be healthier.

One thing is for sure about ecigs - they do dehydrate you and it can sneak up on someone unsuspecting about 2-3 weeks into vaping and no analogs. First week was the total opposite and everything came out smooth...

Most of the posts about allergies to PG could be due to dehydration and not eliminating waste and toxins. I had a similar problem: itching, rash, hives, bumps on face. All gone now. More water, fruits and vegetables, and paying attention to regularity.

Although I purchased some good VG juice, it wasn't an allergic reaction to PG as I'd thought.

Oh the vape gods are cruel, I destroy everywhere I go...

My guts got messed up in the navy but it could have been stress, change of diet and eating tons of salad with greek peppers. I went 10 days without passing one NO FUN! But I could swear it came out square and since then no back ups.

But if I am farting more I feel for everyone at work since they know it is me either because they are uber loud or peeling the paint off the walls.

I know gross but just stating fact, I only crop dust the lovely people who I despise at work, and my cats.

New here but I can give you suggestions for your lazy bowels! Drink a ton of water daily to help start things moving through your pipes. Then once you start having good "movements", increase your fiber, which you should be doing anyway. I guarantee a bowl every morning of All Bran will keep things moving. Keep your water intake up that will help keep you hydrated everywhere and your bladder will adjust to the increase. Most of us are dehydrated because we don't take in enough water. If you get desperate, do consider a hydrotherapy bowel evac to get you on the right track. Then follow the steps I mentioned as a ritual every day. Much better than taking meds to temorarily fix something you may keep causing through improper eating and drinking. More important than adjusting your vaping is how you care for your body's other needs. Hope this helps!
