I suddenly get this very harsh burnt taste on my JS. Does anyone know how to fix this? When I draw I don't taste anything, but in the throat it feels like a chemical burn like sensation (not TH, a lot harsher than that). I read somewhere that JS has this problem when atty is not screwed in tightly. I don't see how less current would create this burnt taste. Nonetheless, I tightened atty as much as I could. The cart is full. I almost flooded atty. But, it only solves the problem for a short while (2-3 puffs at most). Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you.
just out of curiosity...since you didn't mentioned it... what Juice are you using? -- Have you recently started using something newly ordered or something? --- or maybe a new mix of DIY or something?
There isn't a direct and true relationship (in this framework of concern) between the issue of a "burnt" taste... and the "quality" of the electrical connection between the battery and the atty.
The only pertinent physical factors that enter into the question are: a)
what substance(s) are in contact with the heating filament?; and b)
how hot are those substance(s) getting?
Offhand.... I have to concur with the earlier suggestion that most likely the problem is a result of some loose fiber(s) from cart's polyfil stuffing ... have found their way onto or under the bridge (where the heating filament is)...
and have melted onto the filament. --- This can easily cause problems (and often does) with "burnt" taste & odor , low vapor production, & overall poor atty performance.
Almost invariably....except for the case of melted errant synthetic fibers...the
only other significant possibilities arise from the question of what ingredients are contained in the juice that you've been using. -- Certain 'flavoring' components have been found to
NOT work well in a PV (for different reasons), and thus NOT recommended. But that doesn't mean you won't find such juice flavors available... or being made DIY.
And finally of course... there could be a possible issue relating to 'quality' of
any of the other ingredients or the method of manufacture of any given particular juice (e.g. - who made the juice?..how was it made? ...or where was it sourced from?..etc)
