Sad to hear. Hope things get better.

I have developed a habit with alcohol pads. When I fill my tanks, etc. it just seems that I will get some on the outside or on my fingers. I always have alcohol pads to wipe down the tank desk, and/or fingers. I get them from Walmart in the Pharmacy area. They are $2 for 100 count box. I hope it helps me.

wow wow people, its dangerous to do a diagnosis bases on history alone on what he says. As he said he already did a swab, took a course of antibiotics and had a 2nd opinion at another clinic, where they told him he is recovering.
Further more he is apparently stressed. Personally I would tell him to chill out, if they did a swab at the clinic, mean they know exactly what he got and gave him the medication accordingly. I would say that the redness remaining is some slight inflammation remnant after the infection.
What i would suggest is to take some vitamins to boost up your immune system vit C tablet [and or oranges or other fruit rich in vic c] and vit D, which you can get from cod liver oil capsule, and if you want something rich in antioxidant like green tea. That's all.
If really you dont feel well after a couple of week more just visit your doctor do another swab and, take your medication accordingly, because sometimes after an infection, due to the fact that your immune system taking a hit, you can develop a secondary infection.
But remember its dangerous to just ask him to take any drugs based on history alone.

No one diagnosed anything. People suggested what they thought it sounded like and within the same posts suggested going to the Dr.

U think I could have developed candida ? I feel alright and I'm taking vegetable multivatimin but still no better or worse. I'm more concard about the white streaks in the back there

It is very common after a round of antibiotics. Many people make a practice of eating live culture yogurt when taking antibiotics :) It is suppose to prevent candida growth when taking antibiotiics. Hope that you feel better soon!

What do u mean by desenitized? My last cigarette was about 3 weeks ago and prior to that maybe 1 a week and a year ago around half a pack a day

I mean that when you were smoking both cigarettes and [the other stuff] the cigarettes may have made you less sensitive to the negative effects of [the other stuff]. But that seems unlikely if you were only smoking 1 cigarette per week.
