Help me please (diy beginner trying to stock up)

I think the issue with buying from China right now though is getting the item through customs prior to the May 12th date..

Anything after that date will be blocked by customs, and with the coronavirus I hear shipping is slower than usual from China right now, which as it is takes a month usually, on a good day.

Ya, I forgot to mention that. You know, I ordered some bubble glass tanks and another True RTA from fasttech last week. About 2 minutes after submitting the order I remembered the deadline date and it's probable consequences. Ever since I've been kickin' myself in the .... for not doing it sooner. I'm probably gonna be out 35 bucks, but I haven't cancelled the order just in case, and it's my own damn fault if I lose the 35 bucks.

My last 2 FT orders haven't taken as long as usual. I placed 2 orders on Mar. 23rd. 1 order was all Ships Next Day stuff...and it did ship then. It went through US Customs on Apr. 5th, and I received it last week. The 2nd order was all Ships in 5 Days stuff, and it shipped on time, too. It's in transit from China to the US now. Or...it could be that tracking just hasn't updated yet. Might be in the US but not gone through US Customs yet.

So, IMO, you may still receive your order before the deadline...depending on what it showed on FT for each item, regarding when it would ship.

To couple with what JC said (New information to me as I was thinking shipping was slow atm so it was good to hear it's not at least from one)

But you have to remember FastTech claims bluetooth speakers and such instead of vape gear. I'm hoping as such that some vape related items will still get through, I'm just not willing to make the bet with someone who has absolutely nothing and needs the items to continue vaping....

But since your mainly bits and bobbles, it's a good chance it'll make it through, keep your fingers crossed!

When I placed the order, the tanks were marked to ship next day, the True not until the the 28th. Or vice versa; I don't remember. Gotta keep the suspense up..

But since your mainly bits and bobbles, it's a good chance it'll make it through, keep your fingers crossed!

I hope to at least get the glass. That's what I need. So, Mr. Murphy, please stay in your corner..

@UncleJunkle only tabled the idea of Squonking as @SignupZ has no coil bulding and wicking experience, as it's an easier entry into rebuildables using RDA's than RTA's.

Like the vapourlock/airlocking issue I've encountered when trying using Rayon wicking with an Ulton Taifun GT IV/4 clone, sounds as though it's equipped with a wah wah pedal when I've been trying to suss it or should I say argue with it.

Never tried an RDTA yet, but I have heard that they're easier to work/live with.

Lots of people learned on an RTA and managed just fine, just takes a bit of practice.

There's very little in life that doesn't take time to learn and practice to perfect. Even the things I enjoy most in life took that.

I think it's better to tell people with a little dedication that they are indeed, not too stupid to learn something new, especially something as important as quitting smoking and staying off the smokes.

While I love squonking, and truly I do, it's a far larger leap to go from pods to squonking than it will be to go from draw activated pods to a nice mtl RTA with a good single battery mod.

One step at a time, I'd say. That's just my take on it though.
