i see a lot of people enjoying the Fatty v3... i want to too.... i bought this guy to chuck on my spare pv to replace the trident that eventually broke... i get it its not going to be the same vape as the trident what with being a totally dif design, bottom fed airflow, loadsa flavour but lacking in the plume department

i'd like to see what you guys are setting up on it or hear what you've done

the first day i set it up i think i put 28 or 30g on it at just over 1Ω cotton wick hanging or dangling either side of the center where the holes are, loaded with 40/60vg juice... took a few toots... flavor was ok but was expecting to be blown away and the vapor was flat like i was using 100% pg...

anyhow im still seeing some guys giving it good reviews so tried again today...

same juice as before which in my other 3 or so rba's give a nice smiley cloud

first try: 28g, 2mm id open coils, 1.6Ω with cotton wick only in coil and the only way to get anything half decent was to take superlong hits, flavour ok ish

second try: 28g, 2mm id open coils, 1Ω cotton wick and the vape cloud was smaller cus i couldnt fire the coil as long for fear of burning the cotton, taste was the same as before

the taste i think you call it lots of trebles and not much else, tried about 4 dif flav's all the same thing....

so... im done! with this thing and ready to take a lump hammer to it unless someone thinks they can save him:?::D

I think Chris was smoking a Fatty when he designed this one.

I never considered taking out that plastic/delrin piece.
You just got me interested again.

Taking it out seems to give it a little better airflow and less gurgle.
Still not entirely happy with it.

Back to my normal drippers...

yes that was exactly my thoughts... "still not quite there!"

and the same thing if i'm screwing the cap on surrounded by people, they turn to look at me "are we there yet!?" , 'no! i'm still screwing the cap down':D 'got enough threads on that thing?' ... jeeze

That's funny! So true. Feels like it takes forever to screw down. But, I can live with that, it's more funny than irritating. Other than that, I've been using mine for two days now and I'm loving it. Matter of fact, ordering a second one. Only thing I'd like to see different is the "tightness" of the airflow ring. Moves too easily. I think I saw a workaround for it on here with an o-ring. But other than that I'm very happy!
