Help My GG - 510 thread not catching

Hey guys all of a sudden the threads on my atomizers/cartomizers are not connecting with the 510 connection on the GG.

It's not the center pin..i have pulled that all the way back...For some reason the the threads just arent catching. I've always noticed that mine seemed a little loose...but now I can't get any atomizers in there very well. the top cap holds it there for a little bit...but i think i need a new atomizer connector piece. It's almost as if the thing was machined a teeny bit too wide...because the threads arent stripped or anything. And i never force the thing. CRAAP.

hopefully rob will just exchange the connector piece for me.



Ok..just found a couple of carto's that just catch...but they are barely holding in there.

Probably a different thread, cartos are made for like 10 cents. If a normal 510 attys screws in fine then you have no problem.

normal atties are NOT screwing in...that's the problemo....about 1 in 10 things i try is actually catching..even when they do, they are hanging on by a thread...no pun intended. Very unhappy.

Can you take a picture with the top off the collection tank (it unscrews) of just the atty connector, up close with macro please.

Looks ok accept the thread looks very dirty.

Dirt is not the issue...nor is it damaged..it is just too big...numerous 510's just slide right into it

ok, maybe contact rob for a swap then. Got any 801's to try the outside threads? How does the 901 rethreader fit?

Physically it looks the same as all of them.

Don't have any of my other atty's or threaders at my girlfriend's...thanks for trying to help hopeful.....it's quite baffling.

Same problem happened to me last week.

I use the re-threader that comes with the GGTS, 510-901 and another threader 901-510. Looks nicer now with the 510 cartos as there is a brass band.

So I guess im not the only one then...sucks. Possibly a bad batch of atomizer connections. Too bad i dont have a 901 to 510 laying around.

The strange thing is, it fits the rethreader nicely. Only cost a couple of bucks mate. Just get 1.

I will...but it's probably close to another 20 bucks shipped...plus the time which is annoying.

And frankly...it shouldn't be necessary with what we pay for the GG. Mine is only 2 weeks old or so. I have no doubt that Imeo/Rob will handle this properly..they always do.
