Long story short

We've been vaping since 3/11 when we quit smoking. I had a Riva. He has an Ego. I quit vaping when I got pregnant over a year ago.

I want to vape again but I'm not sure what has happened in the last year.

I need to buy something like the old Riva or Ego. We usually drip with an old atty or Carto. Dualies just came out when I quit. We have minimal experience with them.

TIA!!

I've been very happily vaping with EGO 1000 mah batteries and dual coil cartos for quite some time now. Batteries last me @ 4-5 hours and the cartos are good for about 2.5 hours and I chain vape. Happy vaping!

A 1000mah battery only lasts you 4-5 hours????? How much ml of juice do you burn through in a day? My 650mah lasts me a full day, and my 1000mah lasts me 2 days usually. I burn 4-6ml a day.

My wife has the KGO in pink from Hoosiers.....HERE. Great customer service, you can call Brent and he will answer any questions you have.

I like my variable volt devices as I can dial the juice to taste. A soon to be released EGO-C Twist might also be of interest.

If you click on Hoosierecig's New Products you will see the EGO Visions Clearomizers, my wife really likes them, I prefer CE2 & CE3 clearomizers. I guess we are a clearomizer family...lol.
I would suggest the low resistance for the ego/kgo for a warmer vape and the high resistance for a less warm vape.
Heck, through 1 or 2 different items in the cart and see which ones you prefer. That's part of the fun isn't it :)

Hope that helps

Just my $.02, but I gotta support a couple suggestions:

luvinits suggestion of 1.7 resurrectors or 2.0 boges is right on...strong, full flavor and vapor. A super close second to dripping for many, and actually better for me as you dont get the unavoidable nasty dry hits (unless you really dont pay attention) or the close to dry, semi yuk hits and these are far easier and more convenient than dripping! I tried a bunch of dual coils and they just didnt compare imo.

also have to whole heartedly second skelley...going to variable voltage made vaping SO newly fulfilling and way more enjoyable for me. It opened up flavors, and variations to flavors, and even made some liquids that were 'Eh' great once you found the differences higher or lower voltage made on them. It gives control over not only flavor, but TH, and importantly, whatever carto or atty etc you use. If a cartos getting a bit beat, you can up the power and bam, back to its sweet spot. I could go on and on as to VV...suffice it to say I think that coming back to vaping with a VV device would be a whole new experience this time! And there are so many affordable opts now from box mods, the Ego Booster, Lava/clones etc. And fyi...the Ego batts with a few settings just dont do it for me...not full control w/ just 3.3,3.7 & 4.1v (believe it or not .1 or .2 v variations can make a real difference) and not a high enough range (many people find 4.2 to 4.4 or 4.6 so to be a sweet spot)

Whatever you go with, welcome back and enjoy!

PS: If you try the Ego Visions I strongly recommend you clean them first very, very well! I found a gnarly taste from the plastic or the primer fluid. I suspect both actually. First one I even ran 3 fills through and it didnt go away. I tried another out of the wrapper and same thing. Better when I flushed it out first, but still there. A flush, an overnight soak in vodka, and a flush and dry did the trick...way better.

OK, so maybe it was more like $.04! :D Sorry so long winded...

Great tip about the clearomizers!! I have a few different kinds and I've gotten that nasty ick taste in a couple of them. I think I have 3 or 4 different types and a big problem I'm having is leaking and flooding. And now my problem is that I have so many different kinds that I can't remember what they are or where I got them

One more thing about cartos on the KGO.. I might have mentioned it, but for me the single coil cartos are much better. I just don't get as good a "hit" from a dual coil. I've got some dual coil tanks and I'm just not feelin the love with those things. Tight draw, muted flavor.. 1.7 or 2.0 single coil is definitely the way to go on a KGO.

And yet another thing.. most KGO kits come with atomizers.. so be sure to order some cartos, unless you get it from Dark City, their kits come with cartos instead of the attys. I've never had any luck with the atomizers. I ordered my kit from Virgin Vapor because she had the pretty red ones but my red ones do not have the 5click shut off feature. Brent's at Hoosier do.. and it's a nice feature to have. I carry mine in my pocket at work and they will fire if you're not careful.

Let us know what you end up with... happy shopping!

Titanium- I loved the red too. I ordered from Hoosier. They had just opened when I quit vaping a year ago. But wow. They've done great for themselves. My order is already shipped.

We usually buy our juice in 180ml bottles from BluMist. We love Robacco menthol and the clove tobacco.

Any other great juice suggestions? I know it's hard to recommend. I just don't have the time to research like I used too. TIA

I don't see how you could possibly use 4-6ml of juice a day and have a 650mah battery last all day. I have been vaping for over a year with all kinds of gear and carto's and I use around 5ml plus juice a day and with a 1000mah battery it lasts for around 4 hours of constant use (I use it bunch and have it with me all the time) For all day and night I swap 1000mah batteries 3 times, in a 17 hour period. I also have a 3000 mah setup and it will just last me just for the 1 day or 17 hour period.

Only two flavors??? Oh, I could never do that! There are just too darn many flavors out there,, I switch up at least 6 or 7 times a day. Not that I haven't found anything I COULD vape all day,, I just don't want to! I love ECBlends.. their flavors are aawesome and you can mix up your own concoctions too.. I've ordered twice from them and will definitely order again.. I ordered my spare KGO batts from Hoosier and very happy with the service from Brent. Everyone has their own take on juices.. it's an individual thing.. just gotta try some different stuff. If you like tobacco's.. I hear good things about Mountain Oak Vapors too.. check em out!
