So I have been vapeing about 5 months now. I have a spinner and a vamo but it is time to make a little higher end purchase. I have had bad luck with carto tanks and with vivi novas. but I do like drippers and bottom coils (evod). so I am looking at either getting a provari and trying a protank or getting a REO. what do you think? any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I started a thread like this a while back, provari vs reo. Surprisingly the answers were overwhelmingly, GET A REO! I have a great mech coming soon, vv/vw with a VAMO,though not near the quality of the provari imo, but a bottomfeeder is next on my list of purchases and you'd be hard pressed to find a more durable one than Reos. Plus I much prefer a mod I can fully disassemble and rebuiled at home if necessary, not that you would have to if you chose either, they're both tough as nails.

I don't have a REO, but I hear great stuff about them.

I do have a Provari and an eVic, and I love them both. I hear Fastech has a pretty good deal on the eVic going right now. A nice VW device, but a bit fragile. I do love my eVic.

The Provari is a really nice choice if you can afford it. Just remember, you need button top batteries to use your Provari, so budget those in if you only have flat tops. It has the best vapor quality, hands down. No VW, no problem! I have three other mods, and I would not recommend them as highly as either of the two I have discussed.

If you want a higher end mod that can last virtually forever it would have to be a 100% Mechanical, that means no wires or circuit boards that will fail and need to be replaced. there are lots of mechs to choose from but if you want a reo you can't go wrong with the Reo Grand!

Right now im waiting for my ela :D Super T ~ ELA

I have a provari and a reo grand. I love them both. If I had to choose one over the other I would factor a few things.

I would go provari if...
I wasn't comfortable with rba's.
If I wanted something that looks like a tube over a box.
Variable voltage.

I would go with Reo if
You like rba's
Like the box mod look.
Want a pure mech mod. There is nothing that can't be replaced on thus thing for a few bucks. Literally $25 to rebuild the thing from the top down.

I personally prefer my reo. The reasons I prefer me Reo are the following.

Rm2= the atomizer built for the Reo. It's amazing in every way. There is nothing I would change about it.
Bottom feed. Load up your bottle and have a charged battery and your set for the day. 6ml of juice ready to be vaped.
Once you get into building your own coils there is no reason to use vv (in my opinion) I haven't missed it one bit. I build mine between. 8 and 1.4 depending on the juice I'm sucking on.
The community. The Reo community is the absolute best community I have met. This may not be a selling point for you but when you can hop on the boards and chat with the owners on a daily basis it's great.

Since I got my reo my provari has been used as a meter for my builds. Both are the cream of the crop in their respective categories so you can't really go wrong with either. This is just my opinion but the Reo has sold me. I love it.

Glad I could help you with your decision. Make sure you pick up a RM2 from them as well. In my opinion it makes the mod. Head over to the Reo subsection and introduce yourself. You will be well welcomed.

Reos Mods

I asked many questions before I purchased my reo and I never got biased answers. They spoke to me in a neutral informative way, never trying to convince me to purchase one. they just gave me the low down and I decided myself to purchase it. I have had mine for maybe 6 weeks or so and I have never had any issues with it other then it misfiring on occasion. I asked on the forums and they suggested putting a little Noalox on the connections and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
