Trying a new coil is the next step in troubleshooting your problem.
IF a NEW coil does not work, then yes, it is the tank.


The mod should be just as it was before you washed the tank. Normal/functional.

Pop the batteries out and back in to give it a little reset.
If your display is showing 0.0Ω with NO atomizer attached; presume no issues.

In general, any ohm reading from the device without an atomizer/tank attached is a potentially fatal symptom and the device should be replaced. (Call your "Friend" for a refund)

Are you completely sure about this cause i was planning to get a new tank!!!

If you have another coil to try, this would be resolved 100%.

Please call your friend and confirm the device was working when you received it. Ask if he/she has another coil or tank/topper you could use for testing.
If you have a multi-meter, you could check for continuity and confirm the resistance of the coil and tank.

I have nothing neither does he. He said he'll get me a coil asap but i didnt here anything. But im olanning in getting a new tank soon maybe an rda since coils are really expensive here in oman!

No one knows 100% what is going on. But if you have another coil, try it in the tank you have. If it still doesn't read, it is probably your tank.

At that point, it would make sense to replace the tank and try the mod. As long as you haven't damaged the mod, the mod should be fine.

1) Start with the coil (cheapest, most useful option)-- if a FAIL.
2) Get a new tank try on the mod. If it works, you are FINE. If it's another FAIL, it may be the mod, too (stop fiddling with the mod, the more you play with the 510 connection, the more likely you are to HARM the mod. It MAY be okay, but you won't know until you follow all the steps in order. It may be BOTH but at this point, only you doing steps 1 and 2 will let you figure that out.

Izan, he did say it worked fine at first, but he cleaned it because of burnt taste. He probably needed a coil. If this thing had been fired dry, washing it may have finally broken the wire in the coil.

Zizoboi, I see that you are located in a place where vape shops are almost nonexistent. Do you know of FastTech? They have low prices, and ship internationally. If I were in your situation, I would think about RTA or RDA as well, just so you wouldn't have to depend on long distance suppliers. But you are going to have to do some serious reading about how this stuff all works. The information is all here on the forum, but may require some digging. When you know what you need, you can place one order for all of the bits you will need, and avoid the back and forth. Get some spare coils for your current unit, as well as a rebuildable, then if something goes wrong, you have something else to try.

ok, i just got this vaperesso target mini kit used from one of my friends. I cleaned the guardian tank by Separating it and putting it in warm water. Then after drying i put the tank back to the mod and it says check atomizer with an ohm reading of 9.9996!!!! My main concern is that the mod is broken cause the place i live in barely sells vape products , i dont mind if the tank is faulty. All i can tell you is when i put a metal object on the center pin of the mod it gives me an ohm reading . DOES THIS MEAN THAT MY TANK IS BROKEN? PLEASE REPLY ASAP!!!!

The company website only lists the acceptable coils up to 1 ohm with a maximum of 5 ohms, your coil is probably trashed from cleaning it, you did something to cause it be that high ohmreading and your mod won't register it because it's too high You just need a new coil in the tank and all should be good.

Where can I buy Estoc tanks(both the mega and mini), EUC heads and other Vaporesso supplies from a US vendor? I have googled it and looked on a bunch of sites, but they always have some of some, none of the other, etc. Like they have the 4ml tanks, but not the minis. Or they have the Mini, but not the 4ml, or they don't have the EUC's, or the EUC ceramics are listed as Clapton instead of SS. I really don't want to wait weeks on international shipping.

I don't know but I've found US vendors typically stock things a bit differently than Chinese vendors. Hopefully you'll be able to find one that has most of what you want, but I have no idea where to direct you. I hate paying extra shipping fees, so I feel your pain.

Any way to kind of break it down to stuff you "must have" right away, vs can wait for? At least that way since Fasttech or wherever has free shipping ,you'd only have to pay US shipping once.

Sorry to not be of more help, I have run into the problem myself, from time to time.
