My red copper stingray clone used to be a monster. Hard hitting all the bells and whistles. Well it would patina real ugly so I decided to polish it with brasso. All the threads and and contacts the inside of the tube everything. Looked new and shiny. Now it patinas worse but that is not my issue. My issue is it does not hit hard anymore. I do not abuse my mods and I haven't owned this a month yet. I know it's the stingray cuz it would fire instantly and crackle and pop. Now with a .7 dual coil I fire it and when when I put it to my ear I don't hear anything and when I inhale there is plenty of vapor but a much cooler vape than normal and I can put that same battery and atty on my k100+ or my akuma or panzer (clones) and fire it up and get the crackles and a much warmer vape. You can just tell it's dying as we speak aha. Sucks cuz it's my favorite and the magnets are still magnetized. Any clues or suggestions

You can try cleaning your threads on it. The Polish may have left a film on the threads. I'd use a grease stripper like a mixture of dish soap and ammonia. They make a conductive paste that I use on my mods called Noalox you can try it is an antioxidant. If you have a good volt meter you may want to see what the voltage drop of your mod is. Take a battery and test the voltage outside the mech then put it in the mech and test the voltage at the 510 connector. Will give you an idea what your losing. OH make sure and clean your contacts good to.
