Mech

APV - Advanced Personal Vaporizer. A big fancy battery. There's no definite characteristic that makes something an APV. Example: ProVari.

Mech - a mechanical battery: one without wires and soldering and circuitry. The "battery" is just a holder with a button. It's a purist thing. Example: The Natural.

Hybrid - never heard in a specific context... where is it being used?

Hybrids do use a rebuildable tank atty aka genesis atty. You can use many different kinds of wicking material such as, ceramic, stainless steel mesh, silica, cotton, stainless steel wire rope(cable) and I'm sure there are more, these just popped into my head.
