You've done the "hard" part (not that hard, really, was it?). All that's left now is to fine tune the coil's position and maybe some wicking tweaks. If you can swing a pic or two, you'll get all kinds of tips from the very experienced crowd in here.

Two weeks from now you'll be walking some noob through building coils and dialling in their RM2 :).

As and aside, I love reading threads like this - the questions/concerns, the support from the community, the willingness of the OP to try, the successes, the cheering. Wins like this in Reoville? Could happen any/every day. Wins like this IRL? Not so much.

You only need a little bit of cotton. When it's dry and you first put it in, you should be able to slide it back and forth in the coil without it hanging up. A typical newbie mistake is cramming w-a-y too much cotton in the coil. Too much cotton definitely affects the taste.

Looks good!

Next time try a little closer to the air hole and raise the coil up some for a smoother vape. Low for harsher hit.

Still could try raising it up some as it is.

May be a hair too much wick if it's cottom/kgd.

If your coil isn't darkening up after an hour or so it's prob hitting too dry and too much wick is not allowing the juice to flow to the coil.
