I just unboxed my vamo and notice my led screen to be off-center, any one else have this problem or know of how to fix??? Thanks in advance

The LED screens on my two VAMOs are perfectly centered so you got one that slipped through the notorious Chinese manufacturing poor quality control. I would suggest you contact the seller and arrange for a replacement. However, if you are handy and aren't worried about messing your VAMO up so badly that you can't return it this video shows how to disassemble the VAMO. You might be able to fix the screen that way.
It looks simple enough but i have terrible luck when disassembling and reassembling anything lol, i guess ill be sending it back. Other than this tiny imperfection i love this thing world of difference to my trusty twist
Thanks for this video. I love stuff like this because I seem to have the dropsies with my mods and I don't mind doing some repairs. I had wondered how I might get it apart in a worst case scenario.
Mine has a bit of something sitting on the shelf behind the screen. I couldn't care less. If I start having problems with it I'll try taking it apart, fixing and removing the foreign material. Until then, I'm vapin' this bad boy!
Yea as much as I don't want to go without it I'm going to send it back. Its not a huge problem and its performing fine but the right side of the screen is pushed inside the unit and the left side sticks out a few mm. So I'm thinking that if the screen isn't set properly the internals must not be either, and it could lead to problems down the road.
I just got my Vamo and noticed right off that the plastic display screen cover wiggles a lot. It almost seems like it will come off. Is this normal?
No screen wiggling at all on either of my VAMOs so I would say that what you are seeing is not normal.
Got my replacement today and guess what..... It was even worse than the first one!!! So i took it apart and it was surpisingly simple. Fixed my buttons, which the right one was sticking out twice as far as the left and got the screen cover as close to perfectly center as possible but its still not flush. I guess its just china manufacturing, not blaming the vendor at all they handled it very well. I guess i better save up for an American made mod for my next purchase i.e. Provari or something of that caliber. Until then i do love the performance of my vamo even with its imperfections.
Sorry for your bad luck! I hwas fortunate enough to get a Vamo with no noticeable flaws. I think I would have sent it back if it had any though, even twice if necessary.
Seems like the old rule again,you get what you pay for,im tempted to go with Evic and spend the extra 25/30 bucks,at least i get a year warranty and its less problems.
Thanks xmr. I wonder if I could fix it myself? I have no idea what kind of glue you'd use for that though. I do like the Vamo otherwise. Since I posted I realized that the plastic display screen will pop right out.
