HELP with Vandy Vape squonk bottle

I needed to change out the bottle on my VV pluse 2 from the black one to the white one. Black one is hard for me to see the juice level. Problem is now I can’t get either one back on the part with the tube on it. Has anyone ever change the bottle out and if so how did you get the top piece on the silicone sleeve? I hate to think I just broke my favorite squonk mod.

Be sure the tube assembly is unscrewed from the collar.
Push the silicone bottle into the collar.
Make sure the bottle flange fits into the collar correctly.
Screw the tube assembly back on the collar.

I’ll try that. Hate to think I ruined my mod.

Might have to squeeze the bottle to get the flange to seat in the collar.

I ran into the same problem when switching bottles for the first time. So when you have removed the bottle the top end that is closed you will need to unscrew the tube from the threaded collar. Now you should have a bottle that is open on both ends with the unscrewed feeding tube removed. The top section of the bottle is actually two pieces. When you have swapped your bottles and replaced both top and bottom rings then screw the feeding tube back in. I hope this helps fix the issue.

Just FYI - the bottles I bought off Fasttech has the end pieces already mounted, not sure why that's not the case for the extra bottle in the package.
