I am sorry to hear about this but it causes me to point out one of the features of the GGTS... The locking Button which prevents misfiring of the GGTS.

Now, on to the replacement parts. Unless you can find someone who ordered one of the few spares that came around not to long ago, you may have a hard time finding one. Or if there is someone who has multiple iAtties and is willing to part with one of the plastics it is going to be a few weeks before you can get a replacement.

Again, sorry to hear about this :(

I have had this happen, but not as badly yours sounds.
The top hole got a little messed up, but stil functional.
In hopes of preventing further damage in the event of future mishaps, I added one additional rubber O ring.
Take an O ring slightly larger than the O rings for the ceramic cup, put it on first, followed by the two regular O rings. Once the cup has been put back in place the O rings prevent the cup from touching the plastic. There is heat still present in the plastic area but the O rings act as a buffer by preventing the two materials from touching.

I hope this helps.
