When I replace a head, how much of the wick(s) do I cut off?

When I clean mine I leave the head in the upper chamber. I unsrew the other parts and soak them all. Rinse all the parts, let dry, dry burn and put back together. So far, no one has felt the need to trim the wicks on these.
I'm excited to try it out.

Yay got my cape mail today. I love the splitfire it's awesome. Great vapor and flavor since the first hit. I got the purple and it is so pretty. The only thing is I ordered a purple spinner battery to go with it and got a blue one. So glad I waited to submitt my other order. My BFF needs a new battery so I will gift the blue one to him. It's a great color blue tho. I love the butterscotch juice it is awesome. I also got some stallions and gonna try out my sample of the monkey juice soon as I figure out how to fill it lol
Unscrew it from the bottom, fill the tank about 3/4 full, and screw the cap back on. If you fill it too full, you may squeeze some of the juice out like I did. Then remove the top pcap, and put 2 or 3 drops directly on the coil. Wait about 30 minutes for the wicks to absorb the juice. I had to turn my voltage down on my Twist to about 3.6. Happy vaping!
Oops! I meant unscrew the tank in between the top and the bottom, NOT from the very bottom. Sorry about that!

The splitfires are awesome. So is the Butterscotch. I've vaped a couple Phoenix's of Monkey Jungle Dip in the past few days. It's different but it keeps me coming back to it so I guess that makes it good.
The best way for me to fill the Stallions is with a syringe and the longest tip you have to get as close to the bottom as possible. Then slowly fill it til the top gets wet. Kinda get the syringe needle between the metal and the filler and work it down gently as far as you can.
BTW the Whipped Strawberry Pie is excellent also if you have not tried that yet.
This is my first time trying GV juice and I just love the Butterscotch. Thanks for the videos! I just placed another order for a purple battery and the Kanger bc tank.
I got 2 of these a couple weeks ago & I love them. Especially the fact that I don't get the dark, thick, nasty juice at the bottom of the tank.
I have had my 2 Spitfire almost 2weeks now and I'm still loving it. All I have done so far is soak/rinse and let dry, put back together and vape about 5/6 tanks before repeating. I am not getting dark sluggish juice like I do from other tanks. To refill I have been using my needle tipped bottle and filling through the wick holes. Very simple and quick. Still great vapor/flavor/throat hit. On one of mine I was getting a few dry hits. What I did to fix the problem was pull the wicks upward so it was in a upside down U shape. Not alot just enough so it could wick back down to the coil after wicking upward. Hope that made since. Anyway get ya one, heck get 2/3 if you have not already purchased. You will enjoy im sure.
I just pulled my cotton yarn head out and popped in my last factory 2.8 head. I must say, nothing lasts like the silica wicks. I like the idea of cotton if I have the time to rewick ever 2 or 3 days but with Sandy's recent visit (I'm in NJ) I just haven't had the time. I did just order 15 more ft of silica wick, so I will be taking a break from the cotton for a while.
The GV Flux butterscotch is really awesome. I'm back and forth between that and VZ's banana cream pie. The SF is still a really good device, hopefully they will make it great. Like the VN recent tanks.
