Well it certainly wasnt easy digging BF out from under 2 yrs worth junk. But glad I kept it I have used it for all kinds of little projects. I have even dipped it in nail polish to make a blotchy finish on my layered nail creations.
I should receive mine tomorrow. I really don't want to use the blue foam again. I can deal with an airy draw. As long as it doesn't leak and I don't get dry hits I will be happy. I have been using the phoenix BC now for months with what I think is an airy draw, and I don't mind it at all.

I bought mine because it looks very good on an SS ego style battery. I stated that too. My gripe with the piece I own is:
1. The plating is unsound and it started peeling off within a few days of use exposing bare copper near the mouhtpiece.
2. The vape is frigid cool and produces very little flavour and vapour. I found out that because it is dual coil not something ego or ego clone cope with very well. However this device is meant to be used with ego batteries. I also said, it picked up after I took it apart and changed it to a single coil.
3. The mouthpiece measures 12mm diameter. It is really big and uncomfortable to me. By comparison a normal carto is 8.5-9mm.

From your original post you had said you had gotten yours about a month ago (the order number you referenced was not for an Auto5 purchase). That was the first iteration with this. But I won't keep flogging this. You've stated your opinions on the first version of this you bought from another vendor, you stated them very civilly. They are _sincerely_ appreciated : )

As a regular UK customer of GV - the quickest i've received an order was 5 days average probably 8 - so i usually get to read any suggestions or improvements here before i get to try my latest purchase - so thanks everyone 
Jeez, I thought that in a forum it is common knowledge that posts are the poster's opinions and perceptions without explicitly needing to underline, highlight or expressly state that it is so..
Yes, I get good service from Gotvapes which is why I order despite living about 5000 miles away and they do bring out and sell some innovative designs in the market..But you can't get it right every time. The A5 will not be well received by the market because it is poor by design in my opinion regardless of where you buy it from. The early reports are not exactly complimentary as far as I can tell and other people are reporting that the mouthpiece is too big in their opinion.
But summarily deleting posts without good reason is a no-no in my books. I have ordered and received items from other US suppliers and have got good service from them too but never have I experienced a forum moderated by someone, who in my opinion, seems to be drunk with power vested in him. Sorry, but I am out.

because you came here and simply because the mouth peace is to big and the vape is cool you proclaimed it junk, while others dont see it that way, and you still seem to think the same thing as the first day, you opinions dont make it fact. you can express yourself here and stay here as family but becuase you dislike a part of a unit does not mean everyone else will. its ok if you dont like it and you can freely let others know but just because you dont doesnt mean the rest of the vapors out there will agree that just because the mouth peace is large and because the vape may be cooler that they should try it out.
It is understood that it is my perception and that's what I was trying to do. Letting people know how bad I found it. This is an adult forum, not one for young impressionable school children. Each and every one is capable of making their own decisions based on what they know and read.

Received my Auto5 last week along with some other goodies like the Bridgeless PumpCart System. After reading some of last months reviews I wanted to share my thoughts with you guys but I wanted to give it a good trial run for a week first.
Shipping was very quick, as usual. I've never waited waited more than 3 business days for an order.
The Auto5 is a very nice, solid atomizer. I was immediately impressed by the nice chrome finish and the look and feel of it. You can feel the quality. You can tell it's well made and all the parts go together smoothly and securely. It looks great on all of my mods and my eGo's. Functions exactly as Chris described in the video. Worked perfectly the very first time. No fiddling or adjusting necessary.
As for taste, I agree with flbutterfly1, it makes the taste a little lighter. Not bad in any way. Just a lighter version of my favorite flavors when vaping at lower voltages. Works great at higher voltages too and gives an even more intense flavor.
Yes, it has a bit of an airy draw but so what?!! You can do as flbutterfly1 suggested and use blue foam to cover one of the air holes. However, I prefer to leave it as is because I find it's quite easy to put a fingertip over one air hole while I'm vaping to give me even more control over airflow. Great for vaping at higher temperatures.
Yes, it might be a little cooler than some other rigs but again... So what?!! I certainly wouldn't call it cold and I don't think it has to burn the back of your throat in order to be judged adequate. The larger mouthpiece gives a bit more airflow which, in my humble opinion, produces nice vapor.
At any rate, while some might view these things as deficiencies, I think it gives the Auto5 it's own unique character and I like that. It's an interesting departure from regular cartridges, clearos and tanks and adds more variety to my vaping experience.

P.S. To Danny - Danny, did you send me a magic tank with my Auto5 atomizer? I filled that little 2ml tank 7 days ago and it's only half empty!! 2ml has NEVER lasted me so long! Not in a clearo, not in a tank and certainly not dripping! WOW!

people shouldnt sleep on the auto 5, it is dual coil and it does perform well, I agree with your assessment and find those things like you described to be its uniqueness. It does so much right that the little things like cooler vape and looser draw can be looked at at either good or bad depending on how you like to your cartos to vape but overall i like the auto 5 alot and think others should give it a go, like others have said, it simply works, lasts a long long time per tank and it doesnt leak or give dry hits
I agree Chris and to anyone who hasn't tried the Auto 5 yet, I say:
What are you waiting for? It's rock solid, performs well, and it looks cool! And different doesn't mean inferior. A Ferrari and a Mercedes can both get you from point A to point B. They might go about it differently but they'll both get you there very nicely.

1 more thing....... HELL YEAH! On my second fill now and the AUTO5 rocks on my Chrome Lavatube! I found my sweet spot is right around 4.0 4.1 volts. Kicks out awesome flavor and very nice clouds of thick, warm vapor. Yes... WARM vapor! Awesome taste and very nice throat hit. Play with your voltage and you'll find your sweet spot too. It looks GREAT on my mods. Pics included.
I've got one coming. I'm hope it fits on my x2 battery. If it doesn't I've got a gripper vv and an adaptor I can use. But I really hope it works on my x2.
So it fits on the x2. And I'm loving this thing. Vapes like a champ. Taste is incredible. And I have no issues with the "cool" hits. Also, these things are 1.6 ohms. Just to let people know.
