Don't take me wrong, but I don't think is a good idea for Ecigs to have massive marketing. For me is great that these devices exist but we should not forget that these are addictive, they have nicotine. Somehow this marketing should point to smokers only. The bare idea of having kids vaping nicotine gives me goosebumps.

Caffeine is just as addictive. Maybe we should take coffee commercials off the air too...? :?:

Just saw a commercial for NJoy. Very similar to Blu's commercial....rugged, bad boy vaping yada yada. Here we go, let the war begin.
Blu ... Now Njoy TV Commercials
OH, this is Good News for the movement for many reasons !!

From an article on the NET:
NJOY (e-cigarettes) are now available in more than 30,000 convenience stores nationwide,
including major players like 7-Eleven, Sheetz, Circle K, and Cumberland Farms.

This is like a ploy..

In Japan they have had e-cigs on the shelves of 7/11s for ages now. Crappy little cartridges that are made by the same company that makes the analogs.
This is designed in a way that has the consumer think they are trying out this all new electric device only to be far from satisfied and return to the analogs and heres the punch (never to try them again)

Thus when Japanese say to me " oh I have already tried e-cigs and they weren't for me I simply point to my device and say " you didn't try one like this though did you? " If they want I let them try it and they are always totally taken aback at how strong it is and how much vape they see. Then the barrage of questions come.

I mainly say to people that the analog is a design by someone that doesn't give 2 ****s about your health. Make your own design for nicotine and choose your own mixed flavor and strength and invest in a strong device.

Oh and don't get me wrong I'd love nothing better than to be able to just pop to the shops to get some liquid and bits and stuff but that seems like a long way away. The money scrounging analog companies will do all they can to corner this market but they are stumped because of.... creativity.
Vaping has brought creativity in us all. We get to see what nicotine really is about and how it can be digested in a funky, cool, elegant, and even classical way and thats just a tad too much individualism for their lazy fat asses.

If Njoy and Blu are both looking at the big market, it wont be long untill there product is improved. As competiton between the two and the public knowledge increases because of there exposure, so will the demand for better product. Njoy and Blu both want repeat customers, and are fully aware whats next. My biggest fear is not that they are selling crap, because that will change, but as they get their toe hold, they will look to monopolize and squeeze out the small guys that got us here. Things move fast in vapeland, and its my hope the little guys can keep their feet moving.

The "Big Boys" will market their analog PVs, NOT egos and MODs etc.
Their analog PVs will improve over time for reasons other than competition.
They won't squeeze out the smaller marketers ... The other marketers will
offer alternative models as well as analog PVs. The "Big Boys" aren't after
the entire e-smoking market with all its variables.

Of course, there will be a percentage of small marketers will go out business.
Same in any industry.

E-smoking unlike tobacco cigarettes has a built in "hobby" appeal
with many options and variables.

Oh, by the way ...
fewer and fewer today will disagree when I say ...
E-smoking is here to stay !!
