Hey all, I've been wondering...I mix my own flavors now, got quite a few really good ones. But when it comes to "tweaking" the ones I want to improve a bit I hit a conundrum...Let's say I have a pineapple/peach recipe. It's "ok" but I would like it a bit sweeter AND a bit tart-er. Would adding a sweetener AND sour to the mix accomplish that or would they offset each other??????

Sometimes, with my recipes, they come out "just right" as far as sweet or tart goes, but if I wanted to add more of both, can it be done? Thanks in advance for your help/advice!!!

No sweet tart is fruity so it will change the juice in a major way. I find cranberry is fairly neutral when used sparingly. In fact I use cranberry to make Blue Raspberry as it imparts a nice sour note without the fruitiness. And I quit using TFA sour in favor of Lorann which imho is better and far cheaper from One Stop DIY. I find the TFA sour to have a hint of saltiness to it and it's not that sour. If you taste the TFA sour you will know what I mean. It's not a concentrate per say so you can just dab some on your finger.
