Thanks for the tip Del Boy, by the way, could you explain the amount of pg vs vg and what it does to the vape?

I'm leaning towards one of these four kits:

E2 Apollo Kit (650mah)

KGO v2.0 Rebuildable Vision Kit

KGO Black Atomizer Kit 1100mah

KGO Mega Dual Coil Kit 1100mah Black

Haven't decided which one or which is the most cost effective. Or if I should just buy one kit, buy one clearomizers and a set of cartomizers and a set of atomizers.

The selection is amazing. I think I may go with this vendor. Prices for 6 mL of juice is $3.99 which doesn't break the bank :)

Oh, and I forgot to ask: am I going to need 1100 mAh for the extra 6 bucks or should I just go with 650 mAh and save the 6 bucks for something else?

Yeah...all those kits look good to me. These things are sooooo much cheaper in USA. I'm well envious.

I think if you smoked less than 20 a day then the 650 should be enough to keep you going all day. Might be handy to have more tho'.

PG and VG are the liquids that carry the nic and flavour. Most vendors/liquid producers supply e liquid in mixtures of the two eg; %80 pg/ %20 vg. 70/30. 60/40. 50/50 etc etc.
Some people aren't so tolerant of PG. Meaning they get dry throat or even break out in a rash. I'm ok with it so i get my liquids made up in %100 pg. You'll need to experiment a little with this for yourself to find what suits you best.

This is the thing. You have plenty of time. You've given up the killer smokes. There is a lot a lot of vaping stuff to try. Some of it you are going to have to try for yourself. That is why i advised you to go for a simple basic kit to get you going. As long as you get a good battery and boge cartomisers (you only need to buy 5 to get you started) you'll be in the mix vaping. From this base you can buy and try all sorts of clearomisers, tanks, etc.
We all found our way to where we are now with a little trial and error. As you journey through to where you are going to end up remember to note what works for you. Cos you can always go back to that.
Discounts are to be had from a lot of vendors. I'm sure there is a section on here that lists all the discount codes.

I have two Ego Twists. When one runs out I have a back up and then charge the dead one, have had them about a month now with no complaints. Currently use the Kanger T2 clearomizers they do have changeable heads. The DC tanks were clogging and going dead after a few weeks of thick tobacco juices. The T2s also seem to produce a better tasting/clean vape then the DC tanks.

There are no Ego Twists kit on this site, but Im sure he should have a charger to make it a kit. Only thing is you cant cape above 3.7 volts with the stock T2 they come with a low ohm rating and you will burn the head up... Or you could replace the head with a higher ohm rating.

Heres the links.

Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 10%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 60/ 40 PG/ VG.
Most new vapers begin at 18 or 24 mg nicotine.
I would go with is kit...stay away from atomizer and cartridge systems as they are outdated and many have problems with leaking and wicking.

You'll also need an atomizer to test juices rather than fill a clearo with new and horrible tasting juice.

If you decide you want some cartomizers these are the favorite of Kgo vapers- free shipping:
SMOKTECH C.C.V. LR 1.7 OHM XL CARTOMISERS (THE RESURRECTOR) (Box of 5)
or
3 BOX BUNDLE DEAL 510 SMOKTECH 1.7 ohm XL (15 RESURRECTORS)
Crystal Clear Vaping
or
Crystal Clear Vaping

100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before recharge. So the 650 batts should last about 6? hrs before needing recharge whereas the 1100 batts would last about 10 1/2 hrs.

If i were you i would establish a good base first. You seem to be leaning that way. A good base would indeed be the kgo and 5 cartomisers. With this you can get going and have a good vape. You'll have plenty of time to buy and try all the many other bits there are to try. Whilst having a reliable e cig in your hand you can browse through all the reviews and vids of other things you may wish to try. Important thing is you will have a good base/platform to build on.

I have been vaping quite a while now and have resisted all the new 'amazing' things there are out there. Simply because i'm perfectly happy vaping on a ego battery with boge cartomisers. I get good throat hit, good flavour, and plenty of vapor to blow out.

No one else seems to have mentioned what nic level you should start with. IMO you'd be good to go at 12mg. Keep it about there if you can.

I vape %100 pg. For me it gives good throat hit and good vapor. It also seems to not clog my cartos so quickly and thus extending their usefullness some. %100 pg doesn't agree with everyone though and i keep a glass of water close by as it can dry your throat some.

Good luck and welcome to the world of vaping.

I agree very much with this post, except I would go ahead and get an eGo-class battery with variable voltage instead of fixed voltage. Any one of the batteries out there that fits that description would be fine; I'm not necessarily recommending any particular one.

If you just want to start vaping while you continue exploring the hundreds of batteries/PV's/APV's/VV AV's, tube mods, box mods, bottom feeders, drip atomizers, variable wattage devices, pass-throughs, cartridges, blank cartridges, pre-filled cartridges, cartomizers, XL cartomizers, XXL cartomizers, pre-punched cartomizers, slotted cartomizers, clearomizers, rebuildable atomizers, humungomizers, hi-res, standard-res, low-res atomizers/cartomizers, eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers, the Bulli atomizer, 510 threads, 808 threads, 808-to-510 adapters, 510-510 extensions and what devices need them for what attachments, single coils, dual coils, triple coils, watts, amps, milliamps, mah (milliamp hours), volts, ohms, resistance as it relates to amp draw and battery life, pulse width modulation, buck/boost circuits, LED readouts and menus, IMR batteries, ICR batteries, drain rates, charging rates, battery safety, "protected"batteries, "unprotected" batteries", "ECF Compliance", multiple-battery chargers, cones, trim rings, J-Tanks, the MAP tank, Joyetech tank systems, Joyetech "C" vs. "T" and "A" tank vs "B" tank, "eGo" vs. Ego" vs. "kGo" vs. "Go-Go" vs. "WTF" .................

then you might want to consider what DelBoy just advised you to do. Get a couple of batteries, a charger (two would be better), a couple of boxes of Boge 2.0 or 3.0 ohm single coil XL cartomizers, a 510 drip tip, and some juice. Any juice.

If you want a tobacco flavor, get some "Virginia" and/or "Casablanca" from Backwoods Brew. If you want a non-tobacco flavor, get some "Root Beer" or "Peach" from Backwoods Brew.

Optional but highly recommended: one or two Vivi Nova tank/atomizers.

When the stuff comes, charge the batteries, put some juice into a carto, get the polyfill well-saturated, push the button, and vape.

Then explore other options as (and if) you feel the need to.
