Hi every1 bought myself a e-health e-cigarette yesterday, I was in a local shop buying 20 embassy number 1 and the e-ciggy caught my eye under the counter an I thought what the hell and instead of my usual pack of 20 I spent the extra bit of cash an bought the e-health for £10 with 10 refills and 3 chargers, and I'm so glad I did ,I've been trying to quit for a while but nothing seems to work till I used this it's great, I really had given up hope and thought I could never quit the ciggys, I had only ever heard of e-cigarettes on the net and no one I know had ever tried them, I have only had mine a couple of days and I know the e-health brand is pretty cheap but I am really impressed with it I have smoked maybe 1-2 real cigarettes the last couple of days where as before I was smoking 10-15 a day, the only thing I really wanna know is are they safe? I know they are obviously a lot safer than the real things

Thanx for any help you can give me or any tips

All we know is ecigs are safer than regular cigs. The PG liquid base - a heart/lung surgeon say PG is used for inhalation therapy even on lung transplant patients. VG base is vegetable glycerin. Both are also used as concert fog. VG is used in foods. The flavorings are professional food flavorings. Certain flavorings are a bit worrisome, mainly butter and custard flavorings may not be safe for inhalation (diacetyl and some other flavoring chemicals). And there is nicotine, and sometimes a bit of distilled water or pure edible alcohol to thin thick VG juices.

You can add juice to those carts you have if you buy some eliquid. If it's the model I think it is then you need to take the cart off the atomizer and push an unbent paper clip in the mouth hole to push up the juice cup for filling. After adding some liquid you need to make sure the stuffing it positioned at the top edge of the jucie cup, then get the juice cup back into the mouthpiece without pressing in the stuffing. And when the stuffing starts acting cranky, you can try washing and drying it then fluff it up and try putting it back in. Or I don't know where to find it in your country but here I cut blue foam stuffing for tiny juice cups using blue foam (strictlyejuice.com in the US sells cheap precut pieces I cut down, and the bulk material is Marineland Rite-Size U Bonded Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum filters - found in the Petsmart aquarium dept in the US).

If you search Youtube for videos about M401, they should also be applicable to your model. They are very similar.

It's a fairly weak model ecig but has nice flavor. I started on an M401 which is almost the same with more battery life.and I got manual batteries. Within a month I bought some models I could use cartomizers with (510 and KR808D-1) but I still leave the M401 set up at home with a nice flavor because it's a tasty ecig and works pretty well for such a slim one.

Welcome, Curtis! Glad you made the move to e-cigs.

I have been vaping for a week, and I feel a million times better. I did quite a bit of research on the health effects beforehand and from what I can tell, you are right about it being safer than a traditional cigarette. That said, relatively little research has been done on e-cigs themselves, but there is plenty of information out there about the ingredients of the liquids.

If you are concerned about what's in the liquid, you'll be glad to know that in recent years more attention has been paid to producing the liquids in sterile conditions and making it easier for consumers to see what they're putting in their bodies. There are a number of liquid manufacturers who use natural ingredients in their flavors as well. I use Totally Wicked juice, which you can easily get your hands on as they are based in the UK.

Poke around on the boards. There is a ton of information here (but don't get discouraged by the technical talk--your vaping experience can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be,) and welcome to vaping!

The title of this thread got me thinking, ( never a good thing ) the term "Vaping Virgin" is a very good term particularly in the light of recent developments in the general forum.

E-Cig is not really a very good term, it is lazy and makes it sound like a fake cigarette which it is not

E-Cigarette is worse as it make our devises out to be a kind of cigarette which they are not

PV is for folks that have ADD which is for folks that don’t have the attention span to even pronounce attention deficit disorder

Personal Vaporizor sounds like a sex toy

We have decided from this point forward we will refer to these as Personal Electronic Nicotine Inhalation System

Or P.E.N.I.S. for short

so you want to make sure your P.E.N.I.S. is large enough to have the battery capacity you need to get the job done.

( this post was meant in humor and large parts of it were stolen from the ideas of others, no offence intended )

I already feel better for cutting down to 1-2 ciggys a day, if I carry on with e-cig I can't see me having an place for real cigarettes at all in the not so near future, my misses will love it if my snoring decreases by even 1% and so will I as I won't wake up every 10 minutes with an elbow to the ribs, @dormouse wow man you are clued up on the whole e-ciggy thing, today iv gone through 2 carts so the liquid mite be the way forward and cheaper option for me, iv just had a look at one ofvthe empty carts and I managed to get out what was just a small round cylinder with The foil that you punture with the atomizer, the cylinder itself was empty with just a slight bit of residue in it, I knew this was a cheapo ecig when I opened it an saw the instructions were like a child had wrote it with loads of spelling mistakes an stuff, but having said that it has introduced me to a whole new way of smoking and i love it, is 1-2 carts a day alot or average?

I went from being a moderate smoker (interestingly, I went from pack a day MB Red 100's to Swisher Coronellos because they were cheaper) to being a full time vaper. My wife said not only do I snore less but I have noticed a "side effect" that neither of us could have seen coming. My, erm, libido, has improved .... dramatically.

Plus my wife doesn't think I smell bad any more so, she's a bit more, erm, cudly, than before.

Not a bad trade. I feel great, I smell better and my relationship is in a better place. All because I decided to vape.

I'm not looking back. If I ever suck another analog I give everyone here permission to come to my house and drink all of my beer and kick me in the junk, twice.:?:

Hey curtisdon - i started with an e health cigarette. Stopped smoking straight away. Been three weeks 4 days now. I ended up buying 5 e health cigs just to cover me and the wife. The battery life became a concern. I had given up smoking and was now relying on these little e cigs to sustain me through some heavy cravings. Like you are thinking of doing. I had to upgrade. I now have a model with a 900mah battery which lasts me over 24 hours.

It is almost unbelievable how much easier it is to give up smoking when you have a good e cig set up. I am not fooling myself though and realise that at some point i would like to get over my need for nicotine. I'd like to get down to 6mg by xmas. No rush like.

All the best to you mate and i hope you continue to enjoy your venture into the world of vaping.
