Hi guys im currently an "analog" smoker... looking into quitting tomorrow. Been reading and like others way overwhelmed with info.
So! I plan to go to laguna beach tomorrow and check out the E cig store there.
Need to know what I should get..
I mean from the pics post I would love to spend lots of money on a shiny engraved mod but I wana ball on a budget..
I have no size restrictions.. I just want it to look cool and work well..
So far I think i like the ones where u can see the juice is that the tank? also would be down for somthing stanless or somthing with a lot of lights buttons .. i like buttons that control other buttons buttons on buttons ( 10 pts if you get the joke)
So where do I start..

I have a limit of under 100 bucks the cheaper the better I wana be able to switch flavors easy too.

Spanks in advance :p

The store and the people are real cool. Fair prices and great selection. In my opinion, I would get a couple ego twist batteries, usb charger, a couple 510 drip atomizers with tips and some clearomisers. Those are probably the tanks you are talking about. They have the kanger and stardust types of clearomisers. I like the stardusts with the long wicks. All that's left is juice, since you're local and it's easy to go go back, buy small bottles of juice and try different flavors until you find a few you like. Just remember, if you are really tying to quit smoking BUY BACKUPS!!! You don't want to give yourself any reason to smoke. Fortunately e cig city is open every day if something breaks or quits working. Good luck!!!

If you have to have only one get the clearomisers. Drip attys are great for trying liquids so you don't fill a cartomizer with something you find out you don't really like. Drip attys are cheap though, under $10 each with a tip. The twists are nice because you can change the voltage to find your "sweet spot" with different juices and tanks.

I shop there too, great shop. You might want to check out the T2 kit. I don't know much about them except what I saw, and Danny's recommendation. They are a bigger battery than the eGo or Twist (about the same length, but wider) and not variable voltage. But, for I think it was $75 you get 2 batteries, 2 T2 CE4 (it's a proprietary threading) clearomizers, 5 heads and a charger. The heads that come with the kit are short wicked, but you can buy long wicked ones later. They look real slick and they're chrome. Ask to see one and ask Jason what he thinks. I'm thinking about getting my brother one of these kits.

E-cig City has dripping setups to test flavors, so make sure and ask to test a few before you buy your juice.

I completly agree with Amish Ed, get yourself one of the kits above, keep it simple and see if you like it before having to mess with things like variable voltage, you will probably end up burning your juice or the clearo if you dont know about the voltage/ohms rules. They are great guys there. Jason is the owner and the two young ones are his son and daughter. THey are young, and yes some have critized the fact that they dont use e-cigs themselves but they do know their stuff and if they are iffy about something they are not shy about getting big daddy to take care of it. The prices are a bit higher than on line, but you are getting the lessons and you get to try out most of the things they sell. Look at that kit mentioned my Amish Ed, and ask about the Twist and they most likely have a demo Twist. Let them show you the clearomizers, You have to be a bit aware of letting your wicks dry and do the dip and swirl to keep them wet or you might end up vaping burned juice like my brother did for a week. He didnt know any better he just thought that was the way it was. Let them show you the simple cartomizer system. They sell prefilled and they can show you how to fill them. They are super patient and believe me even if they have a packed store, when its your turn they dont make you feel rushed.
I was there a month ago for the first time to buy cartomizers and juice and they took a lot of time showing me how to fill my carto and cartomizer tank. I think she spent about 45 mins on a 5 dollar sale. Parking is in the back or if you are real observant there is a small driveway right before the store if you are going southbound or or right after if you are going northbound.
Enjoy, there are almost always customers there buying stuff all the time and customers just sitting around on the chairs and sofas just vaping away.

i still have to second everyone that is saying get a extra battery. i understand budgets but having to buy a pack because your battery died and your in a nic fit wont help with the savings. also makes life easier when you are charging the battery even if you get into a routine there is still that off chance that something will happen where you forget to charge and need a back up. even if its a cheaper ego battery something is better then nothing.
