What mod is that next to the BB? Haven't seen that before?

That's a sharp looking mod. Love the slight convex shape. Looks like it fits well in the hand.

Thanks! For a 26650 mod it's definitely a compact device and fits very well in hand.

Man I really want the VapeDroid 18650 DNA 40. Whoever runs the Facebook page seems to leave a lot of questions unanswered. I'm really interested in buying the kit and building one!

The modder is currently only making 26650 DNA40 devices. He has some of his past work available on his Shapeways site but if you need assistance you can contact him directly on FB.

I'm not positive what you guys consider to be "high end" so to speak. But I just walked in the door with this triple in series 18650 260w regulated box mod. It's absolutely gorgeous in person. The camera didn't capture the dark blue mirror shine in the back and the deep glossy black front very well. But this thing is packed with so many safety features and very innovative menu and options. It'll never see 260 watts in my hands but I'm sure on a few bourbon nights when the crave for a cigarette really hits I'll chase a few clouds in the privacy of my home. I just really think it's a beautiful mod with a ton of features and a weeks worth of battery time with my clearos.

Awesome. I think this thread is for anything authentic. I am not sure why it is called "high-end mods" because I think of stuff in the $200+ price range (and much higher), most of which is just expensive and no better quality than much cheaper mods... except that it may be made of some exotic material or was hand engraved by aboriginal peoples... etc.

But that SMY mod is very nice. I have some great affordable authentic devices too... some made by the same manufacturers that make great clones. I just got a sweet authentic wood unregulated box made by Cigreen. I might post an authentic setup here because it looks and functions great, even though it doesn't have a ridiculous price tag.

I like the way that SMY looks too... and the dragon logo. I kind of want one. Whats the resistance range that it can fire?

It'll fire 0.3-4.0 ohms. That throws some people off, but the sheer wattage will outweigh the lack of 0.1 capability I promise. Plus with that much wattage you can wrap huge coils with tons of wraps for a crazy amount of wick coverage and pour the best tasting huge clouds. This thing is completely bad ...... But you MUST use 30a continuous or higher batteries (quality batteries) or damage could occur. It's singing like an opera for me though and staying cool.

.3 is a deal-breaker for me, though. I will keep an eye out for the next version.

I said the same thing man. But after talking with some people and finding one at my local shop for $100 (which is $40 less then I could find on the Internet) I decided to pull the trigger. I have a 100w box mod that fires down to .1 and love it (custom build) and this SMY completely kills the 100w mech in every way. I can build a coil at 1.5 ohms and jump the wattage up and still absolutely kill a .1 ohm at 100 watts and tastes better and with bigger clouds. Seriously man look in to it. I'm more surprised then you are because I said the same thing you said before. Plus the higher ohms and higher wattage make bigger clouds, better flavor, and also make the battery life last longer. Plus you can put any 510 tank on it and adjust the wattage accordingly. But really, 0.3 ohms isn't weak by any standards in reality. But we all have our preferences. I think you'd be surprised though. At 0.3 or 0.4 it will hit 260w though.

Check this video man. This dude is a bit different but that doesn't bother me. http://youtu.be/CtvcFuVVtvQ

I am sure it works great, but I am kind of a collector and have a large amount of mechanical mods, unregulated boxes, and a ton of rdas that are all built below .3. So I would have to rebuild anything that I wanted to try on the regulated box and then rebuild it again when I took it off. I enjoy building new coils, but its just too much that I am -required- to re-build every time I want to use something on it. I wouldn't get such a box to replace all of my mods. I would really just get it to play with once in awhile. I love my mechs.

Oh man I totally understand. I'm just a lush I guess. I like having a reason to buy a huge dripper for every high wattage box mod and figure out and tinker with different coil combos and leave that dripper specifically for each mod. I'm still tinkering now and wrapping coils to find my perfect combo. I want it to be right at 0.3 or close with 18-20 gauge kanthal with tons of wraps for huge wick coverage. I'm going to mess with dual and triple verticle coils, dual horizontal, different wicking, and so on until I find what works. I enjoy the hell out of tinkering with stuff wether it be motorcycles, boats, quads, hot rods, dirt bikes, snow mobiles, car audio, and so on. I just can't leave well enough alone. I love to learn and inker and find what I feel is the sweet spot (with some sort of responsible measure, kinda). But being a regulated box with quality batteries I can't really be in harms way too much. I'll test them on the ohm reader before I fire it. If you're close to indy then hit me up in a few days or a week and let's check out some builds. I still have plenty to learn on huge wattage coil building but I'm pretty good at absorbing info that I'm interested in.
