Awesome looking mod and tip, GRRR. I really dig the design. Please let us know how it functions.

Well it's no MCR but it's decent enough, I can't say if it hits like Muhammad Ali as I don't really drip, more of a tank guy here.

The button has a big strong spring in it and no delrin like a Chi-You, so it can autofire if not careful, my Sony VTC5's were fine until I decided to take the switch apart, after I put it back together it started autofiring so I had to add some tape to the edges of the battery to stop it.

Looks like silver plated brass contacts top and bottom with rhodium plating. It's all about the engraving with this mod, it's no "competition" mod but it works as it should and looks nice, the threads are good and it performs as well as I would expect it to, I've only tried it with a kayfun and all is well.

I'm no reviewer so don't really know what else to say about it. if there's anything specific you want to know or anything you want a picture of then let me know.

Thanks for the info. Glad you found a workaround for the switch. I hope you continually enjoy it.

Love it "X Men" they look great VapinBill!! How do you like the Stingray X?

I am really enjoying it so far. I appreciate your 2 postings that inspired this particular setup (copper cover for the origin V2 and Stingray X). This setup is really bringing on a nice smooth vape with plenty if flavor at .7 ohms. I really like the switch and can't get over the small profile. They are now out of stock at Vaperev.

I always liked the Gulf Coast. Congrats on the early retirement. If you decide to settle there and play in a band, let me know. I will have front row seats to hear you play.

Got this interesting dripper from Neovapetek called the Venturi. Similar design to the Cats dripper. Still playing around with some builds but so far it's performing pretty good. When I get home from work I'm going to pop this bad boy on the MCR Hybrid adapter.

Hey StrikeIII, I found a place that stocks them and I'm thinking about buying one of these, how do you like it?

Picture of the KOI from Big Buddha I posted earlier. Apparently this is one of the few that he carved an actual fish on. The mod is fantastic, but would I buy, say, two authentic high-end mechanicals NOT carved and gold-plated instead? For the uniqueness, I'd say no - and the steep price alone has a psychological effect on me to motivate me to actually care for it.

Hits like a champ with the Patriot, and is less weird looking (although of course more gaudy) than the authentic ModZ I sold to help pay for it.

I was stationed at Keesler AFB back in 1977-79. Raised in Jackson, I used to visit Oceans Springs often.
Bill! That's where I was working! I am a field service engineer for a medical instruments company, and the medical center at Keesler has one of our machines that broke down so I had to go fix it.....

This is my first time in Mississippi and I like it down here! A lot different from Boston, but it's nice! I'm flying out this morning back to Boston though....then onto the next destination! :)

Excellent, JP. I hope the weather was noce for you down there.

My oldest daughter used to work at the VA hospital in Biloxi and lived in an apartment building directly across the street from the HardRock Cafe. After Katrina, the building no longer exist. The last time I was there was about 2 months before Katrina hit. I hear from relatives, who live in Gulfport, the landscape has changed.

Safe travels, my friend and vape them healthy !!!

Well I can't say that the weather was great, unfortunately. It was windy and torrential downpouring this morning when I flew out of Gulfport....made for an exciting takeoff though! :D

I am now in Atlanta connecting to a flight to Boston. It is pouring here too! I think the whole southeast is getting drenched right now....
