A No Smoking drip tip in a Viking atty on an Akuma.

The Viking has kayfun style air flow with holes on the side (like a KFL+) that goes through a tube and up underneath the coil. The well is very deep and this atty doesn't leak. Currently there's a .55Ω dual coil with 26g Kanthal. It's a FLAVOR MACHINE. It has very good vapor production, but if your chasing clouds this one isn't for you.

R/Cs also use a different chemistry battery (lipo), they have a much higher amp limit, I'd also bet the burst is different as well. Apples and oranges.

HEM CREW

The LiPos I'm using in my upcoming SX350 box have a continuous rating of 25C each. At 1200mah, that's 30A continuous (1.2 amp hours * 25 = 30). When wired in parallel, that one battery will be 2400mah and 25C continuous. When wired in parallel the voltage remains the same as if it were one cell (3.7v), but the mah is doubled (or tripled or quadrupled or however many cells you've wired together). That's 60A continuous (2.4 amp hours * 25 = 60).

The big advantage is for us is obvious. The mah is multiplied by however many batteries you put in parallel (giving us longer vaping time), and the current is pulled equally from all of the batteries meaning that no single cell is stressed unduly.

If I'm drawing 5A from a 2 cell battery in parallel, I'm drawing only 2.5A from each cell. This is very advantageous for vapers.

Who would've known we would get all this knowledge from a single question? You vape vets are the bee's knees!

I wouldn't consider myself a vape vet by any means. I've been vaping for 4 years now, but the vast majority of that time I was using cigalikes.

Everything I know about batteries I've learned via LOTS AND LOTS of research over the past 3 weeks or so.

Nice! There's a thread for the Viking here. It's on the list of bottom-airflow RDA's too. That thing looks like a beast.

where do you order caravela mods at?

Your best bet is spending time on the forums on the Caravela site. Getting one now would be through the classifieds on various sites but they are usually being flipped for a ridiculous amount of money.

The Nau is the next release sometime this year or soon, maybe. Lol. I believe it's supposed to be 20mm mod this time around but still use 18000 series batteries.

I don't believe you can any longer. They were a limited run and now the only way to get one is from a trade or purchase from an owner. I think there were only 1000 made? I could be wrong. They are quite difficult mods to acquire. Check the calivaperrs forums. I have seen a few on there. Not cheap though!
