I run 2.5 PAPS regularly at .4 on dual coiled Origens with no issue.
@tbev, We have a dedicated forum for needed help and Perseas is just an email/pm away :)
I appreciate it, I haven't bothered him BC I don't really want to pay shipping from Greece for a couple $2 Springs. And really if I'm going to, I don't want to wreck them once I get them, that's why I've been asking around to see how low people are running 2.5's.

Really wanting to try an xxix now! What drew me to GP and MCR were aesthetics and performance/quality, but more importantly great customer service. It sounds like BCV has that as well, and I love supporting companies that have great customer service. Liam at MCR has been great to deal with, and Perseas at GP is always right there when you need him. I think it's time I got to know James at BCV! :)

james and his wife are great. i met them at a meet at a vape shop 2 months ago and they're awesome people. really great customer service. you can see from their insanely long calivapers thread how much they care about their customers and product.

the XXIX and Surfriders are definitely the mods i recommend to people who want a solid mod with a recessed button that can handle any kind of build thrown at it.

if GP included magnets instead their thin springs on their V3s, i would use it more often. i should put it up for sale and get another mcr LOL

Just got my Neovapetek Venturi RDA in today, did a quick dual coil 6/5 wraps with 24 gauge, pushed down almost half the coil below the deck to bring it closer to the air slots, put it on the MCR101 with copper nickel top and bottom caps, and wow, I am impressed!! This thing has very good (condensed and thick) vapor production but the flavor is out of this world good...thanks for the recommendation StrikeIII :) Love the clean lines and no logo... and it comes with three top caps!! No leaking from a dripper...nice job Neovapetek, nice job.

Looks awesome vapourz! Glad you like it. I can't wait until they release their other top caps around mid August.

It took 2 days to get to my mailbox in SoCal from BCV, I screwed up my order, they fixed it no problem, no delays. Obviously the switch is functioning 110% it's got a heavy throw that's a bit longer than the gp but I prefer it, I don't ever have to worry about it firing when I don't want it to. I have been running my quasar on my nemi Clone with dirty crunch button and I can tell it's now running at the very least, 0.3v higher than on the nemi Clone. As in recovered voltage drop. Couldn't be happier. Thanks BCV

Just got my second mcr in. Alumibronze 500 tube (supposed to be 650, Liam is fixing it) polished. 500 copper nickel polished. Brushed can flush button, brushed cn top cap and hybrid adapter.

For those who have not tried the flush button: it's incredibl. The logo is raised and it feels wonderful. The throw is amazing. I love the regular switch on my ss mcr but but the flush button is better.

Yeah, ummm...Tbev, I've dropped the v3 switch to a .26 build and it was fine. I tried it out for a while, then switched to a different build. Glad you're happy now, but don't count GP out. I have NEVER had a switch get hot on me with a v3 - NEVER. Now, the 2.5...meh, can't really speak on that one, but obviously there are improvements to made on ANY mod, even a fluke instance. Now, forgive me for asking this, but if sub-ohming is your thing, have you thought about The Manhattan? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know the story, but that is one hell of a mod that can surely handle whatever you have. I don't know about contacting the company for a part or something like that  but that could handle whatever you have to throw at it...

Manhattan didn't really do it for me, I like the mcr obviously and w recessed button n hybrid connector I'm in, but I can't see it 1up'ing BCV and I'd rather give James all my money than anyone else right now!
This switch is so efficient it's making all my builds feel a few tenths lower res. SOLID

Ok, so what I hear you saying to me is the mcr is better equipped to handled sub-ohm builds in your opinion? Ok, that's cool. I have one and love it. More power to you in your decisions. :)
