Should have put the atty in the barrel end... To negative?

Not if you're a girl.

Sorry. Had to go there. Shouldn't have left it out there in the open like that.

Well I just got my first custom Raptor Box in the mail done by Speedybuilt box mods. I am very impressed at the quality of this mod! The wiring is done very neatly, and it performs excellent. This is a 120watt box, and I bought it to use with my drippers. I think I'll have fun using this mod! :D

Sizzling, JP. That is a monster Vape for sure.

Oh definitely. It goes up to 6 volts. I have it set for 4.2 volts right now and I can't see myself going much higher than that!! Although with a dual coil RDA running at .3-.4 ohms, it could be fun to boost up the voltage and knock my socks off!! lol.... :D

Very nice, FearTX!! Yeah I am new to the whole high-powered regulated mod scene (been a mechanical vaper almost since I started vaping). I knew I wanted something that I could run my low-ohm drippers on, so I went with a Raptor-based mod. I searched high and low for a well-built Raptor Box, and settled on Speedybuilt Box Mods....I am very happy with the way the wiring was done. A few of the other custom Hammond Boxes (Raptor or otherwise) that I looked at had wiring that looked a bit sloppy. I realize that this doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, but I appreicate neatness in the wiring dept...I have only been vaping on the Raptor for about an hour, but I really like it!! :)

Now part of my job is working on electronics, so I would like to attempt to build one of these suckers one day. Doesn't seem to be that hard!!

Super happy with my decision to go with Speedybuilt Box Mods for my Raptor Box. They don't have a website, but I was just chatting with Phillip who owns Speedybuilt on Facebook. He is a super cool guy who takes a lot of pride in his work and he said to let him know if I have any problems at all with the box....It's nice to know that they're not just some fly by night outfit and that he'll help me out if I ever have an issue.....Quality and craftsmanship are important no doubt, but great Customer Service to back it up just makes everything that much better!! :)

I am so impatient..
I keep browsing every day to see if WAEs, ZNAs, Zeros or the like are coming out with a DNA 40 version.
I want to buy new shinies dammit!

WAE-40 is a long wait. It'd not be coming till March 2015. And by then it might not be relevant :(

If Evolv can iron out the glitches people are stumbling upon with their new board, DNA 40s (especially a second gen version) will likely still be relevant for me.
*Especially* if they can get off their butts, and tweak the software so it's user or auto-selectable for different wires (titanium, s/s etc).
It will be interesting to see what the competition comes up with though. :)
