Old Skool VW pipe. I guess you could call it high end :D

This is one of the older DNA12s from Freight Train mods, came to me second hand :)

Yeah, I know, this is 18350 and I dislike small battery mods, once Pipe Fever kicks in you find your self making exceptions.

I do have an 18650 on the way from them in the Oompaul shape though :)

That is a kayfun under that atty cover :D

Overheard there's some glitch in their production schedule ~ the shipping has been shifted to 1st week of November.

They said the delay is because they changed the battery door from a screw on to magnetic. The new date is 11/7. Hopefully there won't be more delays.

Damn, was hoping to have it this week. I hope the magnetic door is true though that would give it a cleaner look without the screw.

I really like my Flask40 and rate it highly.
I am so sold on the Temperature Protection, I want another; one for RTA and one for an RDA.

-heard that the Hana has some glitches abounding in the threads.

Would you recommend the rdna Vapor Shark?

I was looking at XPV that is getting good reviews.

I am going to snag a VF2 40 at some point.

I love my Hana V3, I will not be buying another Hana, I just do not think it is a $250 mod.....

The rDNA seems to be a good bet as long as you take the time to seal the electronics compartment with silicone. The air channel will bleed juice into that compartment, the silicone voids the warranty but so does juice on the chip.

I personally do not care for the XPV but people that have them tend to love them, I did not care for the Hana either but bought one of them anyways v0v

I never thought I'd pay $200 for a PV. Till I came across the XPV and just knew it was the style I was looking for.

It was posted on their FB page, not speculation. And the reason for the delay.

I've looked at all the DNA 40 devices and decided on the VS rDNA 40 as it fits all my requirements. The XPV is a really nice looking device but too long like all tube mods.

You actually don'y need to seal it at all. Evolv has made the boards water proof (or resistant is probably a better word), for that very reason, since the DNA 30.

The "air channel"? sorry I don't know what that is... edit; got it; the air channel on the connector that potentially leaks to the side / back panels.

but if there is DIY, that's usually a deal breaker for me not to mention a warranty breaker (?)... still looking into the VS 40 rdna some more though.
(i just sold 2 Reo's)

There is a pretty active rDNA thread here on ECF. For the most part that was the only issue people were having is boards going bad from juice on them. Not a lot, but enough to make me think. I think it is a very nice looking box and may yet get one.... I dunno....

Vapor Flask :) is too sexy, must have.

After 20 ml of a 50/50 pg/vg sweet, amber colored Malted Toffee. Rayon wick. Much better than without temperature protection.

Also, went 48 hrs and 20 mls without a battery change in the Vapor Flask.

Sedge? What was your ohm reading and what wattage/temperature did you vape this at?

I got my Ni200 in yesterday and did my first build with it. The flavor was muted and it seemed no matter what I did with the temp and/or wattage I wasn't getting the amount of vapor that I get with my Kanthal builds.

I read on here in the DNA40 introductory thread to set the wattage to 40 and then just adjust the temperature. Started off with that first and it tasted horrible. I then ran it with temps from 400-500 and watts from 10-40. It was quite pitiful actually. It got it to where it was tasting a little better (still way off) but the vapor production was abysmal at 20w and 480F.

I did a 30g 12 wrap around approximate 2mm mandrel wicked with rayon on one of the Erlks. Came out to .21 ohms. I did a touching coil and only pre-cleaned the wire with alcohol and water. Didn't dry fire it as I heard you're not supposed to with the Ni200. Maybe I need to do spaced? I don't know. I'm lost atm.

I took some pix of the build but it was late last night (watched the Seminole Louisville game) and they are on my PC at home. I'll post them up if they might help when I get home this afternoon.
