I ordered a Hana clone and a mini clone to upgrade to dna 40's. Soldering isn't too hard and with the internet, you can learn pretty quickly watching videos. You can do most stuff with a drill press which is much cheaper than a mill unless you're working with a block of aluminum.

I agree. But if I get a soldering iron, my wife will kill me :). She does not pay too much attention to my mods, but if I start putting them together, she'll flip :)

Qorax, good evening. Seriously considering an ErlK purchase, especially after reading your numerous posts and tutorials... However, was wondering if you could quickly share the key differences between the ErlK and Kayfuns. Finally, would you recommend waiting for the Kayfun V4? Thank you in advance.

Hmm lemme see...

Why Erlkonigin over the Kayfun? B'coz:

1. Absolutely light. One third the Weight of KFL
2. Open draw and Better Airflow. W/out the AFC ring practically becomes a RDA type draw ;)
3. Slimmer and sleeker, if you are into that form factor
4. A must have if you use a WE/WAE (same OD)
5. Double the Flavor (compared to a K'fun)
6. Better vapour production
7. Holds much more juice (6ml)
8. Easy to setup (b'coz of the drill bit rests on the channels). You get the hang of it within a few builds
9. Unique bottom design. The set of teeth and AFC looks very classy imho
10. Easy Top filling

Ps.: These are all subjective, and are my opinion. But I've used nearly every atty in the globe and have now retired all of them. I was a K'fun fanboy until Erlks happened. And I use only authentics. It doesn't mean the K'funs lack in anyway - it just means that I like the Erlks better!

So many nice mods here..I'm new to VV/VW and just got a Sig 100..After seeing VapingBill's Zero and Achilles..I'm wondering if I should even post a pic of the thing. It's not per say "High End" at all..but it is however.."High Voltage".

Oh why not..it's not a clone. Maybe when I get use to it I'll think about a "higher end" mod. lol

My 28 gauge nickel wire just came in for my flask. I'm getting to figure out which of my tanks dedicate for temp control, I think I'm going to leave my drippers alone for now. Its either going to be an aqua2, kayfun lite plus or russian 91. Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards my kayfun or russian because I like using the aqua on my mechs due to the hybrid option. Also has anybody tried a twisted 28 gauge coil with the ni200?

Can any owners of the vapor flask help me out? My usb connection is loose, for example when you plug it in it will wobble, not the male side of the usb wire inside the female side, but the female part of the usb built into the mod wobbles. Its almost as if it is not secured to the mod properly. it charges fine but don't want to have a future problem.

All reports suggest - those Zero Clones SUCK, big time ;)

I have seen a few of his videos on his youtube channel and have not been impressed, given the speed and dubious suppliers that supply the vape gear. Point in case have a look at his erlkonigen clone review yes he may of been first to review the clone but it's a poor clone and a poor review.

Yes there will always be variations in clones so mileage may vary, I had the misfortune to see one of the hand made mods by this reviewers father $230each (SX350), I can say with complete confidence at best it was average at worst it was poor.

The FC clone was pulled due to Yosen getting reports the chip was too powerful;) but personally I don't think it was a good DNA chip. All other reports of the clone has been good I will find out soon enough myself. As posted here it will be prime for a DNA 40 when evolv finally fix all the problems and give us a Celsius version in Europe;).

My own opinion of the Vaporshark boxes is not good having owned and repaired several they are weak in several areas and various forum posts with the 510s failing for non US customers warranty is a nightmare and i know of atleast 3 people who have had more than one 510 replaced only for the threads to fail a few months later, the DNA 30s have only been sold this year. I would never buy a rDNA DNA 40 due to the poor build quality and choose to retro fit a clone or build my own mod every time.

AFAIK they're supposed to do that. I think they call it a "floating USB connection" or something like that....As long as it's not really loose I think you should be ok.... :)

You state there's several areas where the VS is weak but you only state one, the 510 connector. I plan on replacing the 510 with a VT if/when it fails. The paint peeling from juice is pretty sad but other than that, I don't hear much complaining. Their sales people could be better trained but I've read their service is great.

Not everyone can build their own. I ordered 2 hana clones (full size and mini) to upgrade to DNA 40's, VT 510's and better fire buttons. I only received the full sized one so far and it's got warts but it works and I'm sure it'd be fine for most people. I also have a rDNA 40 coming.
