well actually, let me rephrase that since I sound like a snob saying that. They are not "trash", they do the trick, the stock heads got me off of those wretched cigs. They are great for beginners, cheap to replace. Once you rebuild one with a micro coil and cotton wick, you will wonder how you ever used the stock heads. But then you remember that everyone has to start somewhere. That's what I was trying to say.

Well, I certainly know that without a lot of help (and strident yelling about how wonderful they were) to get to coil building I never would have gone there. My left side is pewp, my eyes swim with the vertigo (both from MS) and I never knew I should reach for the rebuilding until someone rebuilt a bunch for me. The difference is so very astounding I learned how to work within my limitations to make it happen. They really are THAT good!!

Now it may seem silly but I do have an absurd amount made because I have collected every person's cast off heads, bought my own, traded for them etc. and I know that I do not HAVE to make coils for myself if the MS suddenly get's worse as I have a bunch made up and ready. Which is good as I'm heading through a weak stretch and making coils is very hard for me right now.

But I'm prepared.....

Megan! I'm a noob.

For me, the vapor production has been the same on the Russian as I had on the Nautilus... But the pull and the flavor is much, much better. And no more burnt, nasty hits! No more buying 3 dollar bad heads either. So I'm in contented vape heaven... For now.

The Russian really comes alive when built between 1.2-1.4 ohms. Shoot for this and watch the Gorilla emerge from the ape!

Building coils was on my "I'll never" list of stupid things I said about vaping in the beginning four years ago and back in March when I started this journey again. Without a little push and a lot of great advice, I might still be saying "I'll never...".

Hope you gain some extra strength soon Megan. With your PM guidance, I've got this basic building down now. I think if I can build for a PT, I can build for anything. And remember, there are a bunch of us here that would be glad to build them for you if or when you EVER need it. :)

Peace, Megan...I hope you feel better and get through it all without ever having to use all of your heads without replacing them yourself...that said, you've been very helpful to me, and if I manage to learn to do this, add me to the list of people willing to help you in the future :)

Steep time: 1 day

Nic Level: 12

Tank/Atomizer: Brass Monkey 0.4 ohm dual micro coil ccr wick

Mod: (mechanical, VV) copper Stingray

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: For me this is a sit back and relax grape vape, not a in your face ape. I'm getting the Welch's jelly taste without the super sweet. I'm not getting the candy flavor others are. Adding this to HS may make that hit for me finally since it has morphed from my last review of HS as the peanut butter has come more front and center ahead of the bread with a hint of the jelly. For today I just want to enjoy the GA neat.

Hot DAMN! Grape Ape is good as hell!! Honestly, I personally think it's head and shoulders above Gravity.. although that's like comparing grapes to oranges I guess ;) I'm a grape fan to begin with (not much of a fruit vaper in general though) but I've been dripping this stuff since the mail man came today and would like to continue dripping it for quite a while :) .6 ohm dual micro coil, I'm tasting a delicious juicy juice/ Welch's grape juice, grape big league chew, and grape jolly rancher combo, among other notes. Really strong juicy grape flavor but far from too much, or being too overpowering. Not artificial/perfumey AT ALL if you're worried about that. This is about as complex as a "plain" fruit flavor could get. I'll be ordering more with my Frenilla order if it's still around on Tuesday. Speaking of which, I have yet to try mixing the two, but I should probably try that now, huh? :D

I always struggle to find words to describe liquids, but this is a good descriptor. You would think "Grape, heh, no that tough" - but surprisingly enough, it's a pretty complex liquid for as simple as it might appear. I really enjoy Grap3 Ap3 on a variable wattage device - a Magma on a DNA30 would be BOOM.

Banana is one of them, yes!~

I enjoy this more than any other fruit vape. I look forward to dripper time for it :)
Refresh is good, but I cannot vape more than one bowl of it before I start to cough. Grap3Ap3 is one I can enjoy longer. Thank you so much for bringing it back!
