Steep time: FOOB

Nic Level: 12mg

Tank/Atomizer: KFL+ Cotton wick/30g kanthal 1.5ohm

Mod: (mechanical, VV) Provari @ 4.0v

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: COFFEE! I've had many coffees and they've all had this sickly sweet chemical taste. NOT this one. It's the first REAL coffee flavor juice I've had so Thank you! Now I used a fresh wick on this one and get a hot burnt initial flavor at first. In a good way though. However, I'm not sure right now if I didn't screw up my wick because I thought one side may be thin. I plan on rewicking this and trying it again.
Anyway, it's very smooth after that, creamy. There is a subtle sweetness and something I can't quite place on the exhale..... I think I need to rewick as I'm writing this but the underlying flavor(s) are complex. I almost get a light peanut flavor if that makes sense.

It's a great juice and I plan on getting more, alot more. I really want to see how this steeps.

Steep time:1 day

Nic Level: 12mg

Tank/Atomizer: Patriot 0.43 dual 28 gauge 2mm micro with cotton/RM2 1.03 28 gauge 2mm micro with 2mm ReadyXwick

Mod: (mechanical, VV) Black Stingray clone/REO LP Grand

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: The coffee comes out more with the higher watts with the Patriot, the tobacco more on the REO. In either device the flavor is complex with all the components complementing each other. The vanilla and cream is perfect and definitely adds a very slight sweet to round out the high end coffee shop experience. Time to order some more before for a steeping as this 50ml sample will not last...

Clark if this and PBC don't make the final cut I'm leaving! JK... You have the hardest decisions to make, I'm glad I don't have to!

Looks like it is time for me to learn how build a parallel coil for the RM2 and/or get some heavier Kanthal so I can get the ohms down in the REO and still have a big enough coil area...

I also have a Cloudpor DNA30 on order, something else to test with that is sub-ohm and variable...

ETA: just ordered 100 ml more for aging! YOUR ORDER NUMBER IS: 19510

So far out of the mb, I get only cream like CLS. So I'm hoping it will improve because CLS is my least fav of the ones I've had.

This is a bummer planes - I hope some steep time and perhaps trying it in a different device, different wattage can bring out something besides thes the vanilla creme custard.

I probably commented to soon as it's morphing already. Still predominant vcc but I taste the coffee coming through. It has a BOD of June 16th so it's still very young. If it keeps moving in it's direction, it could be very very good. The GCD I got is doing the same thing.
BTW. Thanks for CLS, even though it's not my fav, very nice gesture.:)

The present batch of Wakonda is very young - the folks who got super-steeped bottles on the back-channel are probably better equipped to speak to where it really lands from a balance perspective. That said, getting feedback about the transition, the process, is every bit as valuable as getting info about the resting-state so I appreciate you kickin' in 2c and keeping me assessed of where it is for you.

The super-steeped is richer, and I get more coffee flavor but it is somewhat smoother. Hard to explain how you can have richer and smoother, but Wakonda pulls it off nicely. The younger batch tastes sweeter and it is harder to find the coffee for me. I get more of the Frenilla in the younger juice. I am a coffee drinker, so it may be harder for me to get the coffee than it would for someone else.

That's what I get. Fresh, not so much coffee, then it comes around a little more. Then it smoothzz out just a hair, but stays just as dark. The coffee flavor always stays distinct for me, it hasn't blended in with the other flavors. Again, I know I say it a lot, but really amazing stuff. :)

Ok....so after very impatiently waiting 11 days from the BOD on my Wakonda bottles, I finally could wait no more(even though I have like 8 other Nicoticket flavors in my box). This is one I have been really looking forward to since I received the newsletter with announcement of the release and description of the flavor. I drink entirely way too much coffee, so obviously a coffee juice would peak my interest, especially if Clark made it. So I built a fresh micro-coil for my Mini Protank 2, with organic cotton wick, and loaded it up. I quickly screwed the tank on my MVP2. Set her at 9 watts, and........WOW. Im getting straight up creamy, delicious coffee, with a touch of vanilla. I don't taste tobacco either, as many others have said. Im not getting much of a change in flavor as I up the wattage, but the MVP2 only goes to 11 watts. This juice is not at all what I was expecting to taste, but it blew my socks off nonetheless. I ordered a couple 50ml, and plan to let them steep some, and am headed to the Nicoticket site as I type to order a few more 50ml because it is that good. Clark you did it again my man. I would just like to quickly thank everyone for contributing to ECF, because without this resource, I would not have been able to buy myself some solid equipment to start out with, and my first bottle of juice ever probably would not have been ordered through Nicoticket, and for that, I feel like a very lucky man. I feel like I may never need to try or order from another vendor again, as it is the only thing I get that is not from Nicoticket is my menthol. These juices are that good!! Sooo to sum it up, Wakonda is horrible, don't order it, Perkins Paste is a better alternative, leaves more for me and my strange taste buds :vapor:

BTW GCD might be the best vape I ever had even being so young. Oh man.

I get cocoa today. So you can write that down in your notes : on Mondays, young Wakonda tastes like Cocoa. Yup.

Will keep you posted on the Tuesday flavor tomorrow.

After a week, the flavors are a little better blended. I remember when cigarettes tasted good to me. One of my great morning pleasures used to be that first couple of sips of coffee and milk, followed by a drag.

That's not exactly what this tastes like, but it does strongly remind me of that combination.

Does that make sense?
