Nicotine affecting flavor...man, I'm learning a lot. It will be interesting to see what your juices taste like between mg's as I lower my dosage over time.

It really does. I had a similar experience to Clark's. I started out with sample packs at 12mg. Found a couple I liked, bought them in 24 and 0 so I could get whatever nic level I wanted while having a high nic tank for emergencies (plus, at the time, all I wanted was TH).

The 24 tasted really different than the 12 did.

Now I'm down to 6 with the occasional 12 (have to finish them off lol). 18mg is almost unvapable for me, unless I use my worst tanks, but then, poof, flavor is gone. oh, well. Even at 12 I can taste it. It does change the overall flavor a bit, and it has that unmistakable peppery taste that you can feel in the back of your throat. It's more noticeable in juices that are naturally harsher, like not-too-sweet tobaccos and some fruits.

The other day I filled a kayfun with one of my favorite juices. Forgot it was 18mg and was used to vape it in a protank. It almost cut my head off lol. Went to the B&M and bought a second bottle in 0mg to cut it down.

Then there's the vendors. I find Nicoticket's 12mg less harsh than others. Maybe it's the heavy use of vanilla (or the quality of the base).

So if I'm not mistaken, you're saying less nicotine = better taste? I got a few zero nic bottles, mostly to share with my partner who doesn't like nicotine very often, also to vape when I want to vape but am at a steady nicotine level already. I got GCD in zero nic and none in higher nic (I'm not a huge cinnamon fan - Chrissy is a HUGE cinnamon fan). So I haven't compared juices/nic levels yet. That said, I got some BG in zero nic to share with her, and also stocked up on 18mg for myself - so when we try the zero nic I'll get a sense for it then. I definitely noticed that BG was a different color (clear in zero nic)

on another note - I think my bottle of Wakonda has taken on more of a tobacco note today, and oh man it's awesome. Overall it seems "weak" on flavor at the moment and I really enjoy that - it comes the closest to smoking tobacco I've had, sometimes I get some coffee in it. Had a LOT of coffee and some vanilla day one, hoping they come round trip, but right now it's just heavenly as well :) masterpiece, Kent! this and Virus and BG will always be on my closet shelf!!

Yes, nicotine is dark. Gets darker with age, too.

I would say nicotine is harsh, so it does change flavors. Mostly it distracts from them. But you will most probably notice it as you get used to less nic levels. Then you try a higher one again and you can taste it.

The difference between 2 consecutive nic levels (12/18 or 6/12) isn't that big, unless you vape them in a row so you can compare. The lower one is just "smoother". But skip one level and you'll really taste it.

Steep time: One week

Nic Level: 12mg

Tank/Atomizer: Russian 91 v2

Mod: MVP2, 9.5w

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: My Russian 91 came in today... Probably a little unexciting for the vets, but I built my first little coil on there at 1.3 ohms, wicked it up and loaded her full of Wakonda. Holy hell, what a smack in the face! And what a difference! I'm getting a mouthful of coffee, vanilla and chocolate. I've been vaping a lot of fruit flavors lately, the Coolcumber, Queen of Hearts and Gravity/Betel. Pretty striking to be confronted with this thing. I can see Wakonda with any kind of coffee beverage being the greatest thing in the world. I've got the pot brewing... I should also say that, for whatever reason, the Wakonda hit me harder than any of the other NT juices I've tried. First few vapes had my head spinning a bit. Powerful stuff.

And, unrelated, but I've been having nothing but problems with the Aspire Nautilus...

So long, sucker.

I think the Reo LP for this bottom fed Origen 2 is the next step when the check clears... Then I think we'll all be in Strawnilla heaven... But this'll do for now... This'll do...

Might be the Russian and not the juice. I had a similar reaction when I got my Kayfun. My usual 12mg was suddenly too much, so now I only use 6mg. Whatever I have left in 12, including ACB, only goes into my clearos, or is mixed.

Dang! This is good stuff!

I'm reluctant to confess that anything could top H1N1 but my thoughts are starting to sway in that direction. I think it's safe to say that I like them equally well at the very least. Wakonda gets better and better the more I vape it.

I'm finding that vaping Wakonda with a cup of coffee is not the best combination for me personally. The coffee that I'm drinking drowns out the coffee flavor in Wakonda. For me this goes best with just a plain ole' glass of water.

I should have known better than order Wakonda seeing that it is a SR. Received my first order Thursday, was going to let it steep, but you know how it goes. Put it in a recoiled Protank2 last night. Guess what? This stuff is really good. Nice tobacco flavor with a good amount of coffee.

Will it replace The Virus as my favorite? No, but it sure doesn't miss by much....Mike

PS: Mr. Nicoticket, make this a permanent juice. Please, please, please

Steep time: 2 weeks (DOB 06/23)

Nic Level: 6

Tank/Atomizer: Reomizer 2, 28G at 1.1 ohms, cellucotton wick

Mod: Reo grand

Thoughts/Tasting Notes:

I love it. I mostly get vanilla and cream, or maybe cream and vanilla. Or vanilla custard. Unfortunately, no coffee, and no tobacco, though the tobacco probably gives it a bit of "dryness" that’s very welcome and keeps it from being a dessert vape. As the description says, it makes it “pop” without giving itself away. Very smooth, no harshness. Sweetness is just right.

This is the kind of juice that I find really benefits from the Reo. It's muted in a clearo, good in a Kayfun but really pops in the Reo. Can't wait to see how it steeps.

Recommended combo : CB at 25% or a good cup of black espresso :)

Steep time: FOOB

Nic Level: 12

Tank/Atomizer: Reomizer 2 LP, 28G at 1.3 ohms, cotton wick

Mod: Reo mini

Thoughts/Tasting Notes:

This one may have moved into 1st place in my NT lineup, which surprised me because I run away from tobacco flavoring. It didn't come across as bold but instead rather subtle and sneaky. I get a lot of coffee, then vanilla and sometimes a little chocolate or caramel creme. I can't find the tobacco but I know it's there. I'm afraid to let it steep, which really, it hasn't been a problem so far. :D

This could easily be an ADV for me (knocking Sweetart off that spot) unless the tobacco would come forward and become dominant. There is not a lot of sweetness which I'm finding I really like. All I know for certain is it's going into my order on Tuesday so I need to ration what I have left over the next five days. Kudos to the juice master on this one for sure!

seeing a trend here among the NT family of which I'm not bold enough to call myself a part of yet, but...I think the trend is, Wakonda is KILLER and should last everafter :)

I have been vaping for 7 months now and Wakonda is the first juice that I have to have with me everyday, all day. It is the bottle of honor in my REO.

And dude, you walk in the door here you're family. So sit down, rest a while and vape on! The rule in my house is if you've been here for a hour you're family. Now get over here and help with the dishes...

Well fairtradesloth, sounds like you are part of the family now. Just remember that is also what Charles Manson said....:)
