And yes everything is screwed on and tightened and in its place.

hmmmm, can't imagine how liquids getting out the bottom then. That screw is copper and when I was going into the SS center post I thought to myself, don't crank it down just snug it up... with that, I'm all out of ideas with the bottom leak... Contact Hoberto??

Yes, you make a good point with that actually. Im sure I didnt over do it, but then again I know it doesnt take much. Its not the pin though, thats the thing, its running down through the outter wall and the juice well and somehow gets past the o-rings. Thats when it accumulates at the base where the 510 pin is and on top of my mod. Maybe ill try different o-rings, I dont want to keep bugging hoberto ya know, ive already emailed him over a few times, dont want to come off as annoying or a novice, which im not.

Damn really?! I wonder what they look like, or what he did to it to make more room in there. Seems interesting to me.

if you go on calivapers some guy posted a pic of his. looks exactly the same to me. i dont see any more or less room.

hoberto said "The v2.1 has 2 flats milled on the insulator and it tapers at the shank." but if im being honest I dont even know what that means haha.

yeah i just copied, pasted and put in quotes from there haha
I ended up building my second hobo last night, with the slotted post screws and stainless steel block. No leaking with this one, and I do like the slotted post screws a lot better, but you were right about how brittle they are, im glad he gave me so many cause I cant see them lasting through a couple builds. I think I shoulda cleaned the block and screws though im getting a really nasty taste but I think its just machine oil or something. I am finding it a bit hard to build dual verticals on this though, I normally only use horizontal, my problem is there either too far out and the outter juice well is too close for comfort or there way too close to the peek insulator. Guess ill have to give it another go.

you want it as close to the side wall/airholes as possible. I rebuilt mine again yesterday but itstead of using the positive and negative that were right next to each other I used the left positive hole and the right negative hole(if that makes sense) which made it even easier to build.

It makes sense, I was thinking about doing that last night but didnt, should of. First things first, I gotta clean that thing, then ill report back, again lol. Thank you.

hello guys! sorry for not logging on, i tried a few times and got busy with emails, production, and my family lol all in that order :X, anyways the v2.1, will be what is going to be getting to shops in the next week, finally ramped up on production to keep up with demand, we do operate out of a 44 cnc machine shop but not all 44 machines are running hobos, our speciality is aerospace and of course that has to take priority. however the way the attys are running now, i do not see people waiting weeks for their attys since i will be dropping off weekly with my distributors.

any questions or issues please contact me at hobo@hobocustoms.com and i will do my best to answer on a daily basis.

@heisinberg, is you are experiencing leaking, i have not heard of this issue with anyone else, but doesnt mean it is impossible, email me and you can ship me yours, i will go through it, and fix and ship back (turnaround would be less than a week)

as far as the slotted screws, i didnt supply them with ANY verisons, as i found the hex set screws are much stronger than the slotted. so just becareful if i sent you some. i intinially wanted to use the slotted ones, and even have about 3000 of them sitting on my desk since i couldnt return them lol. thank you all for the support and find words, and even the contstructive critism which will only make the hobo better since i do take all comments into account for future verisons and projects!

Id have to say your one of the coolest modders to date, at least that ive had interaction with. I can deal with a little leakage here and there, the only thing I find hard for me anymore is the little bit of build space that I have, im always afraid of it being too close to the peek insulator or too close to the juice well. All in all I love mine, I just need to find a black delrin top hat in stock somewhere lol.

Have you considered offering a bottom feed version. It would require an SS center pin that is hollow to allow juice to flow from the bottom. The squonkers are becoming more and more interested in these atties and I think you could sell a bunch. I know at least one other modder who has done this and demand is so high they are always out of stock.

Yes! This would be awesome. I've been trying to get some stainless center posts so I can convert to a bottom feeder
