Well...this link is some info on that Verawood that Bianca is getting (hopefully she'll see it when she plays catch up in the morning):

Exotic Woods | Vera, Argentine Lignum Vitae | Cook Woods

Thank you for linking this up!!!

"Second densest hardwood in the World" This is excellent news cause this mod (Vera-squeeeeeeeee) is the one that's going to go out with me. Everytime I take an eGo or whatever out with me, I miss my Hogs.

Yay for hard wood!

hahaha never thought I'd see the day that B said "yay for hard wood"

Looks like I will be sending #24 back to Mike to swap out buttons ... if that's ok with him, waiting on a reply to my PM ... I don't dare try to do it myself, I'll screw something up. It's going to be hard to send it back after waiting so long to have it in my hands, but at least #33 will be here keeping me hog happy while it's out.

Beautiful wood! OMG! Too many decisions. Ive decided to try a VV next time. Looks like I have a while to decide. Which is a good thing!

I went out to the pub yesterday. There were people wanting to TOUCH MY WOOD! OMG! I almost died when someone else held her. My husband said my eyes would get big and follow the mod. And I would lose all track of conversation.
It was like having a bunch of drunks hold my newborn baby. I kept inspecting her when I got her back and wiping her off with her cloth. It was terrible! But, she sure got lots of attention..

questions- ok-so I received Ayla (#8) on Wednesday-I think and it is now Sunday.
Still in Hog Heaven-but my tongue is burned/taste buds totally dead by Saturday night- and this is with 5mg juice.
Yes, I didn't have to chain vape-but she is so neat and pretty and feels so silky in my hands-Lol !

Have tried the 5v and it is too hot and cough city. 3.7 v batts are best right off the Pila and a bit cooler after an hour or so. Am using a Boge 2.0 or 2.5 and even tried a 510 adapter with a Go-go carto.
I use VR CC- AV Boba's-gorilla joose and KBV monkey juice.

At this stage, too much experimenting, I think-LOL !!
Anyone have a "better/best" combination of battery/carto ??

And yes- pm in to Mike for another hog !!

My current favorite set up on my 3.7v Hog is the 1.7ohm Smoktech cartomizers ( Crystal Clear Vaping ).

I just ordered in some of these to see what all the hype is about. I did get some 1.5ohm cartos in a swap once and they are slightly better than the 2.0ohm. I can't wait to see how they work out:)

Can anyone give me the REAL advantages of choosing a VV over a 3.7?? Mike will probably exile me if I change my mind again, but...

I'm perfectly smoke-free and content at 3.7v + Boge LR carto. The only reason I would pay the extra cost is to try a VV for the first time. Do the batteries hold up just as long? Can you raise the voltage when you feel there's a drop in performance, or does that just make things worse?

I've never owned or needed a voltage meter. Would I need one with a VV?

Mike's prices are incredible already, but I don't want to waste my wood combo choices to something I may not even need or want.

Thanks for any help from those that have already been there and experimented:)

This is just MY thoughts on what to do if you've never tried VV.

1. See if you have a friend who is nice enough to loan you a VV mod and show you the ropes.

If that fails...

2. Head over to MadVapes and get their inexpensive VV box mod (under $40) to give it a try and see if VV is for you before spending $150+

And from what I've heard around the forums, yes a voltage meter is recommended if you go VV.

mfraz and I are both wanting to try VV as well and will most likely go the MadVapes route to give it a try. So I apologize that I can't answer the other questions you have.

Hope this helps

Trouble...I can only speak for myself when saying this, but I used to own a ProVari and found myself keeping it dialed in at 3.7 to 4.5 or so all the time, so I sold it because it didn't make any sense owning something like that and not utilizing it to its full potential. Now, since owning my 3.7v hogs...I am finding that (with the newest technology) I now enjoy vaping at 5v and even 6v w/certain juices. I can achieve this with the hogs I already own by just switching out batteries (18650's for 3.7 and a littler higher on a full charge and depending upon the atomizers ohms, 4.8v batteries for 5v vaping, and a couple of 3.0v batteries for 6v). With the VV Hog...you'll have the convienence of not having to switch out batteries and attys. You'll also be able to 'tweak' your settings (voltages) more with it as well, which for some, can make a big difference in the taste of the juice they're using! Hope this helps ya a little (and makes sense...I'm only on my 2nd cup of "JAVA", hee,hee ;)
