Thanks pringles! It does help. My concern is whether I even need to try VV at this point. Something tells me I'm right and I really don't need it. I've already found my all-day vape/mod and, and if I want to try VV, I can just try a loaner or different version to see if it's better. I'm just looking for a major selling point to go ahead and make my next Hog a VV.

I don't know that I personally need to add that at this time.

Where did the "like" button go??

For me this was my first VV which I love, I have other 3.7 bottomfeeders and loved them but now that I have the VV I dial in what I want output. Yes I has an atty that performed poorly I upped the output and it works fine. Dialing in heat and flavor is a must for me, I didn't think it made that much difference but in 2 days I will say it's a game changer. So far I have went up to 4.72 output on my 1.8ohm, now I'm back to 4.55. I haven't went up to higher outputs yet because I am still playing with my LR atties. I think VV is so much better and going up just a bit in output from 3.7 to 4.2 or 4.6 makes a ton of difference. I can say my everyday vape has litle flavor at 3.7 with 1.5 atty, now at 4.55 with 1.8 I can tell what flavor it is. Sorry for rambling but IMO VV is a good choice I'd for nothing else to get a heat dialed in that's what u like. Unless 4.8 or 3.7 gets u what u need. For me I was in the middle.

Trouble...I can only speak for myself when saying this, but I used to own a ProVari and found myself keeping it dialed in at 3.7 to 4.5 or so all the time, so I sold it because it didn't make any sense owning something like that and not utilizing it to its full potential. Now, since owning my 3.7v hogs...I am finding that (with the newest technology) I now enjoy vaping at 5v and even 6v w/certain juices. I can achieve this with the hogs I already own by just switching out batteries (18650's for 3.7 and a littler higher on a full charge and depending upon the atomizers ohms, 4.8v batteries for 5v vaping, and a couple of 3.0v batteries for 6v). With the VV Hog...you'll have the convienence of not having to switch out batteries and attys. You'll also be able to 'tweak' your settings (voltages) more with it as well, which for some, can make a big difference in the taste of the juice they're using! Hope this helps ya a little (and makes sense...I'm only on my 2nd cup of "JAVA", hee,hee ;)

Yep! It does make sense to me. Basically, if I am settled on my favorite all-day juice at 3.7v, there's really no need to take it any further. If I like to change up my juices/flavors, and each tastes different at different voltages, then go with VV.

3.7v it shall be:)

Still, there's no "like" button:( Is ECF changing things again? coffmO, cherewine, and pringles13--you each have an unregistered like from me.

One thing that VV does for me is regulate that fresh off the charger 4.2v vape into an all day event. I really enjoy the fresh off the charger vape and I can tell the moment that voltage drops. I can set my VV at 4.2 (or 4.5, or 5v...etc.) and it stays that voltage with no drop until charging is needed again. That is worth the price and size of the PV for me.

Also...if you ever buy a new juice and you're not getting the flavor coming through...you can always throw in a different battery and/or a different ohm atty/carto and try it again. I, personally, find that the 3.7v hog works just fine for what I am currently vaping, which is about 4 or 5 different flavors (tobacco's and a few of the fruit tea flavors)

As far as what B just said...she's got a point there because with the 3.7's...I find that when my flavor starts dropping off...I have to swap out batteries, which can mean taking a few with me when I go out somewhere for any length of time.
I think we're going to make this decision difficult, once again, for Trouble.....lol (Sorry Trouble :( )

I don't want to drag out my questions, but does adjusting the voltage effect the life of the battery? If so, how much do you think?

Trouble...It's good that you're asking all these questions as I'm sure there are others who would like to know this stuff as well...heck...It's helping me as well because I was contemplating whether or not to get a VV next time myself ;)

I think atty ohm's will also factor into the life of your battery as well as where you have it set at/how much your vaping.
So far I am getting a day on my 18350's easy and I pretty much have it with me all day every second. That's at 4.55 until I tinker later with some 510 atties.

I bought the charger and battery to try 5v vaping and it was too much throat hit and too hot for me.
But would like to find something that would equal a fresh off the charger 3,7v.
Hmmm- maybe it's 4.2 or something that feels "right" for me.
But, how would I get that ????
What exactly is the difference between a -below- 2.0 carto( as in 1.7 for example) or above 3.0 carto ??
I do not have enough hands or time to do the drip thing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I feel like the weird one who doesn't like warm vapor

Something tells me that I don't need it myself based on what I'm hearing. But, that's completely me and my vaping habits. I may have needed it a few months ago though.

Oh heck! What do I know? If it ain't broke, then do try to fix it!

Mike just closed his pre-ordering for the next batch last night conan. After this next batch is made and sold (about a month from now), he will let us know when he's taking new orders. He'll list the available woods to choose from as well as the ordering information. He MIGHT have some up for general sales when this batch is finished and he puts up the pics of them here and first to pm him with their choice, gets it. Hope this helps ;)
So how do I order one of these? Are they all taken?

That is my main concern about spending that much more money for a vv hog.
Size does make a difference- too big is not good.

Trouble...you should also take into account the difference in size. For some, it might be a little cumbersome when handling it. RIMP said she has small hands and it didn't work for her. She ended up selling it here in a matter of minutes tho ;)

Have you tried the Dual-coil cartos yet? You might find your 'sweet spot' with those? You can buy them in singles to try out before committing to larger quantities at Crystal Clear Vaping.
