That is my main concern about spending that much more money for a vv hog.
Size does make a difference- too big is not good.

From what I've heard, they're not that much bigger. BiancaMontgomery is pretty particular about the size of her mods. So, my guess is that the size difference is pretty insignificant.

What size battery with a vv??
honestly- it was MUCH cheaper and simple buying analogs-LOL !!

One thing that VV does for me is regulate that fresh off the charger 4.2v vape into an all day event. I really enjoy the fresh off the charger vape and I can tell the moment that voltage drops. I can set my VV at 4.2 (or 4.5, or 5v...etc.) and it stays that voltage with no drop until charging is needed again. That is worth the price and size of the PV for me.

Someone said in the Hog family photo thread that he measured the VV's out to approximately 4 5/8"L x 2"W x 1 1/8"D. I measured out one of my 3.7's and it is approximately 3 1/2"L x 2"W x 1"D. So...going by THOSE measurements, the difference is mainly in the height of the VV...not much difference in the depth and no difference in the width. *shrugs*

Ah ah ah...now don't find an excuse to go back to them! This is way more FUN because it turns into more of a hobby than anything...and look at it this way...all this researching and such keeps your mind occupied so you don't go have one of those stinky cancer sticks.

Thanks for posting that info. :) So basically its the exact same height as the top of the catch cup on my full sized reo woodvils, 1/8th of an inch less in width, and the exact same depth. Perfect! :2cool:

old hippy...I don't have the post number right offhand to give you an answer to the battery choices for the VV, but I'm sure that someone will chime in sooner or later and let ya know ;)

Oh...and about analogs being cheaper....they might be where YOU live, LOL. I don't put a price on my lungs and general health/well being these days (just wish the e-cig had been around way back when I first started smoking analogs and got hooked!) Also, vaping such yummy tasting and smelling juices far outweighs the taste and smell of a cigarette, don't you agree?

I LOVE Ayla's size-just perfect for my hands!!!
Don't know how you could ever have sold her-but am sure glad you did ( and she has a happy home for sure)

Good day to you Mike :)
Well...that's what one person measured their VV out to be. I'm sure it might vary a bit between the woods he uses. He'd be the man to get the definitive answer from ;)

The frustration of trying so many different options, can make one RUN for an analog-LOL !!!!

Ah, well..that's part of the learning process and finding what works best for YOU..but, you've saved the biggest investment thus far by choosing a bottom feed mod. I can't tell you how much money I've spend over the course of the, almost one year, that I've been vaping...trying to find what works best for ME. Now I have..and I've even found my perfect juice choices (also after spending boo coo bucks searching). So, you're already over half way there!

They all vary in size just to keep you guessing Bwahaha!

Seriously though I do not have the best of tools in my garage, almost all my saws and routers and everything are Ryobi tools.
The base sizes for a 3.7v is 2"w x 3.5"t x 1"d
The base size for a VV is 2"w x 4.25"t x 1"d
Add .25" to height for catch cup
+ or - a hair on sizes due to sanding and stuff

I will have to slowly start upgrading my wood working tools.
As I have mentioned in the past I am not a wood worker by trade, that's why each batch has gotten a little better as I have gone along.
I am learning as I go here, but with the last batch that went out, I think I'm a fairly quick learner.

lol now if these were trailers or bbq smokers and I was using my welder/plasma cutter, that's where I shine =)

Quit the analogs May 17th 2010 and after tons of money- time- frustration on so many different PV's,
my hog mod is the very best of everything. And I really do mean that and why I need another one to switch off flavors and make my personal soul happy. ( they just look and feel so pretty/nice that they make me feel good)

Well I will say you've came a hell of a LONG way in such a short time period Mike! Too bad I'm not closer to your location, "cause I'd sure love to buy one of those custom BBQ Smokers! :2cool:

Good day to you Hogfather! :)

Thank you for getting in here and making the clarification on the mod sizes, LOL I was startin' to sweat a little bit

You DEFINITELY got this Hog mod thing down Mike! My latest one is the smallest of them all (I'm thinking its probably as small as B's 'Precious' I bet). I am totally totally totally LOVINGGGGGGGGGG IT and I can't begin to thank you enough for continuing to make these mods for us and putting up with us and on and on *okay....I'm gonna stop with the http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h362/sherup/Smilies%20and%20Emoticons/kiss-my-....gif now, LOL*
