Mike is workin hard! I did steal him away for an hour or two lastnight, to look at Christmas lights. My favorite time of the year!! With a move on the horizon for us, I wasn't allowed to unpack all of my Christmas pretties. Anyway, I just wanted to let ya all know, he's been working like a dog on the Hoggies! Little update for those who might not have seen theirs yet. Still wiring up mods tonight and will hopefully have these wired up tomorrow when this last coat dries.
I am hoping to have most of them done in time to mail out Tues so that everyone has them before Christmas.

After reading this thread for almost all day and a half (btw, my wife thinks I am obsessed with this mod because I stayed all day at the computer reading about Hog's mod and Hog's mod and more Hog's mod) I think this is the best bottom feeder mod. It looks fantastic.

Yeah the kingwood is pretty dark, not quite as dark as it seems in the pic but its a really dark purple kind of color. I really like how that one came out.
The one with the m.o.p. is black walnut with bolivian rosewood caps.
The canary wood one turned out pretty good too. Was worried I was gonna tear out the knot in it that really adds to it.

Great choice. Hog mods are indeed in the elite group of bottom feeders on the market. Can't go wrong with it since it performs and looks great. I'm sure your gonna be ecstatic with it when you get one....or two....
