See, you've caught it from me. Neither of us should be saying things like this...but we can't seem to help it.
That's exactly the order I was going in. Love his work, love your work. He's been around for a while and has found a price point that makes it worthwhile for him to make and sell his mods. Looking at your prices it seemed that you hadn't yet--so my priority was to grab one of yours afore you saned up.
Now I can relax a bit and save up for a Gripper
The Gripper DOES look pretty awesome, but I think having smallish hands that it wouldn't be a good fit for me...but yeah, he's doing amazing things with his wood... Good grief.

Ok finally got a few rough boxes put together. Dont get to excited, they wont be ready for a little bit but thought ya might like a preview.
Really like the look of the black palm but man what a pita to work with. Im hoping this first one survives the router to round the corners. I'm half tempted to do it by hand.
And here's a size comparison of the 3.7v and the new VV boxes. Pay no attention to my mod, I beat the hell out of it on a construction site.

You need to stabilize the black palm if you want to rout it Mike... use thin CA adhesive or minwax wood hardener at the minimum

Thanks Brad, you'd think that guy at woodcraft would have told me as much. Told him I had never used Black Palm before and was worried about splintering out the wood.
