I get it now (I'm a little slow), I was just told that my sig was too big and to fix it, so I deleted it, then I realized that ECF had their own banner for a sig.

If you decide to get wire from fasttech, or anywhere really besides temco, give it a good wash.
A freind of mine got a spool of 316L wire from there (which was obviously not 316L but that's another story) gave some to me bc I popped a coil, it was so dirty it left residue on my cotton, just like unkamen SS 430, it needs to be cleaned up real good with alcohol.
Not really sure what you are saying. Don't get me wrong, I really like the FSK and believe Hohmtech is basically a good company that produces a very capable chip that sports awesome technology that has awesome capabilities and performs on a level that no other chip can and that just gets better with every firmware update issued. It has the potential to rule the marketplace when perfected, but it relies on a user to define its reality, and as such it is just not quite ready for and too advanced for newbies.I have been reading "over there" and am still waiting for "Someone with street cred" to pipe up when people insist on using/setting up this chip in a non-standard way, and then complaining that it won't perform correctly. Some don't read the manual (obviously) and still others don't read the past forum posts on how to do it, or even watch what videos are out there, but insist that the FSK chip is not working correctly, and don't want to be told that it is "They're fault". Amazing ! For crying out loud, I'm here taking med's that make me so loopy I don't know what day it is half the time, yet, I can read and understand both the manual and the posts that are written on how to operate this chip. It's not an excuse by any means, but I can understand why some get bad CS from CS Agents that just don't care anymore. Just my little rant, I feel all better now.
There's no nailing. I got my money back and kept their broken mod lol.
Glad you found some level of satisfaction in this matter. Very nice of Cloudy to step up and help you out. There's no nailing. I got my money back and kept their broken mod lol.
I got that. Wasn't trying to tell you you were wrong because I get what you were trying to say.Let me be clear, I'm NOT talking about mongo, the way he has been treated by Hohmtech/Vaporcube is just plain wrong, and I hope he nails their .... to the wall on this if they don't make things right.
I'm just blowing off some pent up steam is all.
You have just articulated my thoughts Perfectly, I wish I could have done that myself.
I've bought plenty of Geek Vape wire from there and it's good and clean. Fasttech customer service has been bad of late though so I can't recommend them anymore.Bit late on this, but If you decide to get wire from FastTech, or anywhere really besides temco, give it a good alcohol wash.

It is not complicated to use by design, but it operates differently than any other chip and is a confusing adjustment for many new users. No serious reviewer (like DJLSB Vapes) has bothered to put out an instructional video on its use because I'm not sure they truly understand it themselves or know how to best express the concept of its use. You cannot just tell someone to set it to this and it will work as it is operation just too abstract a concept to easily get across. I know you understand that now, but when you first got it there was no way to tell you that.
Sorry all for my ranting posts!
I only contacted them with a pre-purchase inquiry about the Slice battery door and paint issues. They replied within 36 hours and told me there were 4 manufacturing runs on slice with various improvements along the way, but refused to share serial number differentiation information on how to tell a unit was from which of the four manufacturing runs so I would know what issues to expect.Just to be fair, I've also heard from a number of users who had no problem with contact or warranty work being done on Hohmtech devices.
Personally I've had two occasions of direct email contact with Hohmtech and VaporCube, one to each, outside of sales. The first to HT for tech support on firmware updates, the second to VC to discuss a battery door issue. Both were within the last 6 weeks and both replied within 24 hours and I was satisfied with the results.
Yeah he is not a very good teacher. He of course does not understand that at all and is just happy to see himself on the videos dazzling his audience with his superior intellect. It doesn't help that Hohmtech, Ben particularly of course, spouts lots of pseudoscientific bs when talking about the chip.

Yeah. I'm particularly allergic by such bs as I'm too used to it from my former profession (in a completely different field than electronics, but I've learnt to spot bs, and Ben makes it very easy to spot).Yeah he is not a very good teacher. Probably that company cleans theirs a bit better, still not a bad idea to scrub it down with alcohol before use.I've bought plenty of Geek Vape wire from there and it's good and clean. Fasttech customer service has been bad of late though so I can't recommend them anymore.
