I'm going to chime in here. I don't think it would do you ant good to pursue the warranty issue with homhtech. I say this because they have openly stated they are not a mod manufacturer. They seem to be focusing only on these batteries theu have wrapped and are now selling. It seems to me they are dumping all their mods and to heck with the people who bought their stuff and gave them a name.

Irregardless of Hohmtech's future plans, they still put their name on the mod, distributed, sold and warranted the product as their own even if they subcontracted out the assembly and as such should be required to fulfill the reasonable expectations of their customers even if sold through a vendor.
Even if Ben from Hohmech started up and later sold VaporCube to another party while contracting them to perform Warranty Service as they claim, (a claim I am not entirely sure I believe is not just a construction of a convoluted layered business model to limit liability), this practice of denying DOA or Defect Exchange or Refund on Sale Priced New Product items carrying the Hohmtech Name should not be tolerated under any circumstance and Hohmtech should refuse to sell to them any products until they eliminate the policy as it fails to fulfill the reasonable expectations of their customers and reflects poorly on their Products and Company Name limiting their success. It is unacceptable.
We as a community should expect nothing less of the companies catering our equipment and demand correction when they do not comply or these unacceptable practices will continue. A reasonable businessman who cares about the reputation of his business would understand that and should not have to be told that. I would pursue it for the principle alone.
Our complacency is why we have companies like Joyetech who write warranties they have absolutely no intention of honoring. We bring it on ourselves.
Hohmtech is voiding Mongo74's warranty (3) & expecting him to be happy that he was allowed to keep a defunct & defective mod for free because their vendor/service agent ignored his requests for replacement/repair because he bought on sale (1) and further ignored a PP claim for correction (2); then Mongo 74 will have to pay twice as much for a new mod to replace it after an experience like that (4) and Hohmtech sees nothing wrong with that?
Do you not see what is wrong with this picture? Four wrongs don't make a right!
Am I wrong here or do you agree that this issue needs to be pursued and corrected?
