THe g2 really does produce a good vape! I am sold. For me....as I stated earlier, I love the fact that I can put a cap on the heat of claptons while getting really quick ramp up time in TC mode. The quirkiness of the device and settings have become less noticeable the more I use it.There is one great thing I can say about the G2, the vape I get from it is better than my other devices. I always thought this was subjective so I tested, for me the G2 wins hands down.
I don't know why but perhaps it's accuracy or just the butter smooth DC signal.
Ok, I'm game. Who has a good deal on a flat black unit? Not much on designs or colors. There is one great thing I can say about the G2, the vape I get from it is better than my other devices. I always thought this was subjective so I tested, for me the G2 wins hands down.

Don't know mate, I purchased mine from vaporcube.Ok, I'm game. Who has a good deal on a flat black unit? Not much on designs or colors.
Hohm tech is also offering a challenge. If you create a you tube video showing the device working properly, they will refund the cost of the mod to the first 250 people. So you can potentially get your money back!!Ok, I'm game. Who has a good deal on a flat black unit? Not much on designs or colors.
Thank you 350ZMO! Just watched your youtube videos and glad to see that others seem to be having issues trying to get Kanthal to work. Benjamin from Vapor Cube has also been trying to get me to set things correctly and seems nothing has been going right with the g2 in kantal temp control. I realize that the DNA 200's don't do kanthal in temp control but for what its worth I no longer see any reason not to go back to the DNA's. I guess the main factor in me trying out the G2 is that I wanted to control my fused clapton kanthal coils, but now it seems pretty clear that unless Hohm wrecker comes up with new updates that will make the device function correctly with Kanthal it has no benefit or advantage over the DNA chips in any other mode. I do hope as you do that Hohmtech will get this fixed in future updates. For now I will go back to using my DNA's. For others, who may have the DNA's I don't think it would be wise to waste their money thinking that the G2 controls Kanthal as an advantage because it simply doesn't seem to work offering no benefit. I just wish Hohmtech would revise their false claims in their advertising.I have it limiting with Kanthal in both single and dual build attys, but I have not tried Clapton others may have. As far as control, no I can't call it that. Its not like you can set a temperature and expect it to be at that temperature with Kanthal. It will however limit but every time I pick it up, I have to fiddle with temp setting either to get it to fire at all or fire less.
With duals, each coil has to be tweaked so they both fire evenly and at the same time. Only way I know to do this is by dry-fire glowing them.
Kanthal mode, FSK set at 52%. 26g or 28g temco K1, 2.4.4 & 2.4.7 FW.
DNA200s are excellent, I have three of them but they won't limit Kanthal.
Hopefully future FW versions will fix this and hopefully before they release their next model.
I think this sums up the Kanthal experience in this thread, but you might want to read the previous posts for more info, and I have 6 videos on YT.

This is really unfortunate as I was pretty stoked when I saw twisted420 talking this up an I'm glad to know the truth about it. Im quite broke now but I was debating either picking this or the panzer dna200 up when I got some cash...Thank you 350ZMO! I'm not to sure about the UD fused claptons, I know that they have clapton's with nichrome cores or vice versa, but the fused clapton's they don't really state if the three wires used are all kanthal. Are your claptons fully kanthal?

Is there any reason to pick one of these g2s up over a DNA device now? I ask because I have heard people saying that it has a pretty superior vape compared to the dna200 and other devices even without kanthal tc functioning properly. Can anyone weigh in on this?
I don't think kanthal limiting can work with mixed wire, have you tried XXX mode?
