Wow, they actually went out and delivered the parcel today. Allowed mom the first pick (and obviously she picked the red) so I got the blue and silver. Ran the STM on the silver for a few hours and it was fine but the Cuboid and 2/3 were reasonably ok (not perfect) with single coil tanks. Testing the blue one, running SS TC with a dual coil tank (Bellus) now, so far so good, but I only took a few puffs.

There is a lot to the FSK chip but it is simple once you figure out what's important and what's not. I personally enjoy using the xxx mode for everything as that is how I learned but others have had great success with other modes. The great thing is it is really flexible so you can find what works for you, don't get discouraged if what works for others doesn't work for you.

I agree with mjag, xXx mode is what they suggested to me and is what I am running on now with my (2) Slice's. I've had (1) slight hiccup with (1) RTA, the Fev3, but got that all sorted out. I'm just coming from Power/Watts mode on my non-FSK mod's (Presa TC 100W) so the learning curve for me might not have been so steep. Listen to mjag, Tpat and the others if you have any problems, they are Golden.

Since this is my first mod (Hohm Slice) that I have used TC in (always used Power mode in my Presa TC 100W), and am using the same Basen 26650's in each, is it normal that I get better battery life in Power mode in my Presa 100 than I do in TC mode in the Slice, with the same builds/atty's in each ??

Not really sure on this, the only thing I can think of is since you might take shorter hits in power mode than TC might take more power? I know my VF Stout seems to last longer in power mode than my Slice or DNA75 Hcigar VT75, not sure why but I notice the same difference.
Yeah, I'll just play around with it for awhile and get a better feel for what's going on there, it's just something that "seems" to be going on when I TC with it, not positive though.
I know the last update they also made some changes to the battery readings or something like that. I noticed more of a difference with my G2's than my Slice, seemed like I got more battery life.
The last update was great, if you don't have it I would recommend it for sure.

I run both simply so I can run programs and the fact that zero games are supported on linux. I do like the idea of Windows 10 but forced updates are why I run Ubuntu.
I wonder....... I have 1.2.4 on my first Slice, and 1.2.3 on my other. Hmmm...
Like I mentioned the update seemed to have more of a difference on the G2. The Slice came out with a more refined firmware since it is newer, the G2 was older so it got more of an improvement IMO.

OK. Out of curiosity, is the FSK adjustment just a mechanism to use to get the board to recognize the coil, like a coil sensitivity adjustment of sorts, different coils different adjustment percentages ??
Can't believe I did this, but I went and got a second G2 yesterday with the vapocube deal. Now I have Royal Blue to go along with the Burnt Orange. I don't really need a second one, but I like it so much I figured why the heck not.
Don't feel bad I bought 1 silver Slice and 3 G2's a silver and blue SE and a blue LE, now I'll probably have to buy another RTA or 2 to have with them.
