I've heard about Hammond boxes, but never seen one, or is there just one or many different styles to choose from ?

I love to play with new gadgets and I intend to set up VT75 to my liking. But if I will have any problems with optimizing battery life I will send you a PM.
If I imagined correctly, if 2 Samsung 25R in Therion give me whole day of vaping (10-12mL) and are at 40% before bed time when I recharge them, iJoy 4200mAh battery in VT75 or any 26650 mod should give similar performance.
That depends excalibur. Take my Joyetech Cuboid dual 18650 mod with (2) 25r's vs my Slice with either a Basen 4500 or MNKE 3500 running the same topper set to the same parameters, and the Slice wins every time (noticeably), but both give me a day plus of usage. My G2 will trounce all over both of those, like 2+ days. It depends on the Batteries, the Mod, you're settings, how much you vape in a day, the length of time of you're pulls, you're wicking (fast or slow), you're topper, all of it. Everything is interconnected somehow.

Ether way, VT75 already arrived, but I will get it in my hands at the end of the month. By then I have to buy a battery that will last me one day. I have iJoy in the basket but it really hurts to see I will pay 15€ (+5€ shipment) for 1 battery when I can order a good Liitokala from Gearbest for 5.5€ and even add some stabilized wood drip tips that I wand for some time. And now I'm searching a way to get free shipment (50€). Maybe Serpent Mini 25, maybe some wire, some cotton, tools,... or something else I don't really need.
I'm a strange person. I have no problem paying good money for pleasure, but on the other hand I will search the whole world to save 5€.

Yeah, depending on where you are in this world, shipping can eat you alive.
If the mod was a failure I would try to salvage the chip because it is that good.
I fixed my only issue in less than 5 minutes removing two screws and inserting a simple brace.
This mod for $30 is a steal. I would pay twice that for the chip.

I think I'll wait for another sale to come along for the G2, then get me a Silver one (I've heard that they're even better than the Blue ones).
JUst some pic's of my latest purchase, a Coppervape Hussar from FT.
Build is a 3mm NiCr coil, spaced, KGD wicking just sitting on the deck. Very nice vape for MTL users that like a "Tight MTL Experience". This Hussar will do "Tight MTL" very good, and of course add in Hohmtech Slice technology and I believe I have a Winner here. I'm using my Arabic HS Net in a 60/40 PG/VG mix with FA Flash for more TH.

I wonder what is going on over at Vaporcube ? Hope that they are just waiting on a shipment to come in, and not the end, like the Digiflavor Siren is.
Cpl'a ??? for ya crew…is it worth it to do the update/s in general on these? Particularly tho for batt life? Runnin a batch of these alongside Cuboid's and others. They can go thru a batt in a hurry at 5v but not especially relative to the extra cap of 2x18's. Any downside to either of the updates?
Also, is there a consensus on the finish for the LE. Was there a fix with the revision? How's that working out?
The first of my blue's to start peeling took about 4 months. I've got my first jwrap in and it's nice. The fact that there's a cutout to match the bezel face exactly means you need to rewrap before the peel. The thin edges of the side plates which rise above the bezel is where flaking started for me (from finger contact accessing controls top and bottom). So those two edges are easily exposed and likely will remain so no matter how tightly you apply the wrap.
As far as VW mods go, I'm really diggin' the Slice. Given the discount I've recommended it more than any other device I've ever purchased or tested.
For me, they'll prolly end up naked with a neutral, camouflage or clear patterned wrap as some edges will show through. Something like…
Silver Honeycomb Blue Honeycomb, or…
Damascus Steel 3 Clear
Pity really as I very much like the blue finish and subliminal hohmtech logo. And I'd rather not end up with a bunch of silver mods.

Scuttlebutt is Hohmtech will no longer manufacture mods. They are packing it in because of FDA. They will instead pursue the battery business. Some say they will still manufacture boards for sale abroad, others say they are out of the business.
If you want more Hohmtech mods, don't hesitate.
No surprise there. Many of us thought that when they said they were focusing on batteries. They don't even talk about the mods anymore. I honestly wonder if they are even messing with chips, as they refuse to say who is using them.

It's actually not stainless steel, it's zinc alloy with a coating or paint... My gf has the silver nano one and chipped some of it off, definitely zinc underneath, started to tarnish and everything.Here is a pic next to a polished stainless steel VT75 to show the color difference. Definitely grey and sort of industrial looking, love it.

Edit: I do like my VT75 and it looks great with 30mm tanks. I was going to take it on the road with me this morning but the battery is low. That is my biggest complaint with it, it burns through batteries too quick.
Just putting that out there in case you decide you want to refinish it and strip all the coating off.
Oh Great !! Another one of my gear manufacturers that could be deserting us. Digiflavor did that very same thing with the Siren, first there was no spare o-rings, then it was a lack of availability, then some of us started to message them with questions as to what was going on and of course at first got no straight answers, then, all of a sudden, they came out and said that unless there was a BIG order, they would not be making anymore, then a week or two later they said that they would be making the Siren NO MORE, for any reason, and gave the excuse of not enough sales. Now Hohmtech is looking shaky. Damm !! I have 3 Slice so I can live with that, but the G2 I only have 1 of, and the G2 is the best mod that I have. Whether it is the FDA, or just plain 'ol mis-management, I have a feeling that we (as vapers) have seen our Hay Day and are looking at the down hill slide of the industry as a whole, and don't forget about Provape, they just folded very recently also. I'm feeling very Lucky that I started vaping when I did though, as those poor folks that want to get off of Tobacco in the future will have a lot rougher go of it than I did, I have a feeling. When Politics comes between folks and their health, I mean, this is not the same country that I was born and raised in. This country didn't learn anything from the Prohibition years, that's evident. end/rant.

I ordered a Orange LE from them since that was the one color I was missing and it arrived quick and works great. I also ordered it since it might be one of the last chances to get a G2, stock is drying up everywhere.
Hohm Tech did have designs for a 3 18650 G3 and a dual 26650 HohmRun mods but scrapped them as they are still a small business and the outlay of capital to only be able to sell them overseas was too much of a risk. They would have had to have them done and at least one sold prior to the FDA deadline to be able to sell them in the US. Even then there is the ridiculous licensing fees to continue selling them after the next deadline. The only thing we can hope for is a repeal of the FDA deeming regs, if not expect a lot if not most of the US mod makers to transition to either batteries like Hohm Tech or fold up shop like Provari.
We will still be able to get mods and tanks, China isn't going to stop. The only thing we can hope for with the FSK chip is some Chinese mod maker licenses the technology. Imagine a FSK chip in a Triade or Therion, that would get my money for sure.

I went there and ordered the Red G2, as the only one I have is the Blue G2 LE, and all the rest of my mods are either Sliver or Black, so having a Red G2 along with the Blue G2 LE will set those two even further apart from all the rest of the mods that I have. also (that is a requirement for me) and like you I got, Free Shipping . If I decide to get another G2 then it will be the Orange LE. I agree with all of your statements concerning the Anti-American FDA "Corporation" and it's dealings with the Vaping World. They are No Friends of true Americans and the American Way of Life in this day and age.

The Vapor room did ship out the next business day for me priority mail but I didn't get a shipping notice until the day after they shipped. So far everyone I know that has ordered from them has gotten them with no problems.
