If I remember correctly the casing is made of plastic and the LE is also not metal material for the casing.
Zinc alloy for both standard and LE version?
In that case, I would want to get one. This will be a direct competition to DNA75.
Yes AFAIK, he said they aren't plastic so I assume that's both models.

I want more people to see how well the FSK board works. It's accurate when dialed in, powerful, has a unique method of TC, and the battery life is great.
I'm hopeful this device does really well so HohmTech succeeds, I think they are an innovative company.
My G2 isn't perfect but what device is, I don't ever want to go back to the standard way of temperature control.
I liked the Centaurian too but for that price for that chip I just couldn't see the value. For what they wanted I would have rather bought a Stout. The price on the Centaurian is already dropping. I've seen it in the low 60's lately.

The pricing at around the $60s was really drawing me to it. It's also great looking. But I should know better. Looks are fleeting. [emoji41]

I asked on their Facebook page when they are planning to start shipping the Slice. They indicated that everything was progressing quite nicely and they were targeting before end of month. They also posted an announcement of their 26650 Hohm GROWN battery.
Curious to know if anyone has tried any of the Hohm batteries and if they are worth the extra pricetag. Looks like they may be based off of the HE2 battery somehow.

They are based on the HE2 AFAIK, not sure they are worth the extra money.
Now this Hohm Grown battery will be worth the money if it is a new 26650 based on LG chemistry.

every mod thus far claining TC with kanthal and/or nichrome has been a fail...Unless they are doing something very, very clever here, this will be too. Aside from that, looks really quite nice!
Bro, you have no idea what your talking about. I own a G2 and once it's dialed in and you get over the learning curve it's one of the best mods out there. It's not pretty but it vapes like a dream.

First I think I do know "Bro" but am willing to be convinced...Fail is a realtive term, but if kanthal TC was so straightforward and successful, why do so few people use these mods?!?! I will admit these are the best so far!

The way I see it you have to set some percentage (FSK curve iirc) until you think it's vaping at the temperature you want. I don't call that TC. I want to be able to set it at 420F and have it be at 420F. Not adjust a percentage until I think that it what temperature it's at. Until you can do that I call it temperature guessing. Not saying it's a bad mod or anything. Just not my idea of TC.
