Man, after searching this forum for hours , I have read about the stardusts and the phoenix and the phoenix rebuildables, and the Viva Nova ,, holy cow so many choices.
I know I have asked this before , I bought some CE3's with the wrong threads for a 808 not a 501 thread and got the adapter for them. I did like them while they worked but some leaked out the bottom , others had burned taste due to not wicking good,,
I just want a good tank about 1.5ML is fine that gives a good clean taste on a Kgo, usually under 2 ohms

The phoenix rebuild-able seems like a dripper type to me,, a bowl is what I read seems it will go dry quik,,,,

HELP --- Viva Nova is the best bet so far I have read,, short wicks ,, long wickss,,, Ohms on a Kgo at 3.7 volts????????

Thanks for any input...

I got my Vivi Nova on Saturday, I love it! At first I got a slight plastic taste with it, but now on my third tank, and this thing is awesome! It is so simple to use, and comes with three different heads 1.8, 2.4, 2.9 ohm. everything about it is easy, filling, changing heads, etc. I am using the 2.5 version. I use it on a Riva 1100 battery. I highly recommend it. I got mine at Surevapes.

We sometimes call that a DRY HIT. Dry Hits are caused more by the eJuice itself versus what you are using! You will have more of an issue with it with the lighter and the PG juices.

I have KGOs and there are many choices, it all depends on what you want out of your vape. I find that a tank with a carto is my favorite go to set up, especially when on the go.
At home you can go with a Vivi Nova or the Vivi mini.
Here is a photo of how they look. vivi-IBTanked blk kir fanis-002.jpg

The little glass tank is the IBTanked reg size pyrex tank with the stainless steel end caps, total cost about 24.00 dollars, not including carto costs.

I've been recoiling my vivi novas and can't seem to get a resistance higher than 1.8. That means I have to start out at a voltage of around 3.4. I do get to 3.7 eventually, but it takes awhile.. any sooner and my wick burns and is ruined. So if you are getting a burnt taste on your 1.8 head... that may be the culprit.

I finally made my first coil and wick last night. My first attempt came up at 2.9 ohm with I think 5 wraps, than I took one wrap off and I got 2.3 I unwrapped one more and got 1.9. I was going for 2.0 but that was close enough. I was using the 2.4 head which I loved, it was a cooler vape. Im happy with the 1.9. I made my wicks long enough so that they rest on the bottom of tank.
Aside from the initial 5-10 puffs of funny tasting vape ( breaking in the new coil ) it is working great. Taste is great, slightly warm, not hot. I used 32 Kanthal wire with I think 3mm silica for wick. I saturated the wicks and dripped a drop of juice on top of the coils, let it sit for a few minutes and just started vaping. Remember if you dont oxidize your coils or dry burn you have to take some puffs without in haling or tasting just to break in the coil or youre going to have some odd tasting puffs.
