I just got a notice today about the new Vivi Nova Mini; taller and skinnier than the regular Vivi Nova, more like the diameter of an eGo-class battery. Sounds like just what the doctor ordered.

Mini Vision Vivi Nova Clearomizer | New Products | eSmoker Online

Not much of a picture, but sometimes ya gotta take what ya can get:

I think there are MANY of these in my future, and of those I'm getting off the ciggies.

Interesting. Looks like that might be the answer. :)

Thanks for the help everyone. If anyone has any other opinions, let me know. Appreciate it.

Oh I will, believe me. :)

And come to think of it, here's one: it is my opinion that a lot of people seem to forget how much they were spending on cigarettes when it comes to spending, say, $22-44 or so that will arguably bring their vape to a new level.

Other favorite devices of mine: the Apollo SS VTube (shout-out to Sailorman for turning me on to it), the ProVari V2 and Mini (Peace Be Upon Them), the Reo variable voltage models, the Buzz Pro 2, the less-proven but awesome Smoktech VMax, the Bulli atomizer, the Odysseus atomizer, the Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tank fitted with Boge single-coil 2.0 ohm stainless steel XL cartomizers, and the eGo-W whatever-o-mizer.

Hello Blong,

I have been using Kgo batteries since Mid May and I also bought my set up from Hoosiers.

Try some of these- EGO Vision clearomizers LR 2.1-2.4ohm

I REALLY get good solid hits off these and I like the fact I can see how much juice I have left in them.

I pretty much use Boge LR Cartomizers, Smokteck 1.7 XL resurrectors and those Vison clearomizers. The ONE THING you WILL NEED is one of the 510 to 510 adapters you can also pick up here- adapters for different thread types.

If you don't use an adapter you won't be happy with the draw with those clearomizers. I actually drilled some 1/16th inch airholes in mine before I found out about the adapter trick.

These "Vision eGo Transparent Clearomizer's" from Hoosiers do NOT leak and I get ZERO dry hits from them. I REALLY dig them when I am tired of topping off my boges all the time.

Bullette, you outta give them a try too. I know you are a big boge fan and I am too but these things will give you a break from topping off all the time once in a while.

Thanks for the suggestion Lotsoffish. I just placed an order for Smoketeck 1.7 ohm XLs. Plus a whole bunch of other stuff from several vendors. So I'm set for awhile. But next order I will get some 2.1 ohm clearomizers from Hoosiers + a 510 to 510 adapter as you recommended.
I'm looking for a warmer vape than the Boge 2.0s were providing. Gotta keep searching for the next best thing. :)

Vape on.

I have the Twist and KGo... I love the 1000mah Twist, but dammit, I feel like a baton twirler walking around with it.
The KGo is a good size, but I'd like a few more units of power. That's my To-Go piece.
So, I'm gonna have to get me a Twist 650mah.
I have SS VTube, and honestly, not super impressed. I think I'd rather have two more Twists. Or have saved a bit and gotten a VMax.
The clearos, I agree with blong,... not good.

I'm not impressed with the 2.1 clearomizers from hoosier. The design is awesome, by far the best of any. They just don't have ANY flavor to me. I also tried the 808 threaded ones and they were the same. Sad day. Does anyone have a link to take these things apart?

The BIG order I placed yesterday included some Cisco 306 atomizers. Yay! I'm gonna learn to be a dripper. Everyone says you can't beat the wonderful flavor you get from dripping. I'm very excited about this as my juice flavors are becoming quite muted this last week or so. Prolly my taste buds.
So maybe I'll postpone the clearomizer order a little longer & learn this dripping technology.

Bullette, you and I might both be candidates for a Reo bottom feeder;me, as soon as the variable voltage Reo Grand comes out ("I'll take that in stainless, please").

I eep hearing that you get the flavor of dripping, with far less hassle (just a bit of "plonking" - squeezing the bottle of juice that fits inside the mod to feed juice directly to the coil). I've always thought that a little electric pump to accomplish that ould be the cat's meow - or the doggie's woof - whichever. :)

I just used a Vivi Nova tank yesterday for the first time (and guess what I'm vaping on right now) .... all I can say is "Yowzah!" - I'm ordering ten Vivi Nova Mini's today; taller and skinnier, more in line with the diameter of an eGo-class battery like say - oh, I dunno - a Joyetech eGo-C Twist? :)

And yeah, the 1000's are wayyyy long ... OK to have around, but I use the 650mah 99% of the time.

And I LOVE my VMAX, but it's feeling a little neglected lately, poor little Black Beast. :( I hope Joe does get one - they're awesome IMO. All About Vapor has them for $99 (last time I looked) including two AW IMR 18350 batteries, and they're awesome people to deal with; Courtney, Kenny, or Tabitha will HOOK YOU UP.

Aren't the kGo's in the 4.2 range off the charger? If so, I think we can safely bet that the wicks are getting burnt.

Guess that would be 1 point in Twist's favor.

As a newbie, however, and I can speak as one because I am one, newbies can get "very" caught up with all the great advice and options available, so I'll give this advice:

Your goal with a starter system is just that. To start. You can spend a ton of unnecessary money looking for the holy grail which you are not going to find in a starter system. MY goal was simply get off analogs. I am not expecting perfection (yet). Just finding a few juices I like, and 1 or 2 delivery systems I can live with, is really all I need to do right now.

Just doing that is expensive enough.

When you're off the analogs, then you can step up from your starter stuff. There are some sophisticated knowledgeable advanced vaporers here.

I'm finding some huge limitations that would not be limitations for others. I am not a youngster, and the arthritis in my hands really makes some of the tanks and such quite difficult to put together. So, I'm adjusting my stuff to fit my own particular needs. It may not be the *best* experience, but it's an experience I can live with. I don't expect heaven yet, but I'm glad to be out of cancer stick "h***". Maybe I'm too practical and not picky enough. LOL

I did take John's advice about the twist, and I don't think you can go wrong with these because for starter system, I believe it represents "most bang for the buck. " (thank you, John)

. But I also have a backup starter system (knockoff) which is absolutely fine, too, and which I will be passing on to a friend who wants to quit analogs, but I'm testing it first. For all practical purposes, it's fine, too. (two) 650mAh batts, 510 threads, nice little ego knockoff for cheap. No VV, but it's a great hand-me-down for a newbie.

Quite frankly, ifyou really want to quit smoking you can even use a disposable. I mean, it depends on your committment.

Square82 is the best disposable I found....it has a button you have to push to take a hit.......only disposable I found with a manual system. I keep 3 of these around in strawberry and fruit punch, just in case. :)

The Altcig CE3's come in 2 resistances. I use the 2.4-2.6 version from Discount Vapers on my eGo Twists with AVE VG juice all day long at 4 volts with no burnt taste. If you go up to 4.2 they do taste funky and burnt.

I ordered some of the clearos they call V2 but some call V3.....sort of like the ones you link to except they have long wicks and changeable attys. The bottom and post screw off as well, and you can even get a replaceable tube for it. So, if I put in an eliquid that crack the tube, I just screw the whole thing apart and replace stuff.

I love these things. I can't tell you what they are called (since every site I've been to calls it something different.) But they are vision clearos with spare atty/wick assemblies. You can get them in 1.8, 2.4, etc. and they have the LONG wicks.

Oooo...stainless Reo VV
Bullette says woof!

Not tryin' to be "top dog" or anything, but I say

"AAAAARRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :)

Sad news from the Reomods website:

"VV Grands

There has been a delay with the vv chips . I will update this thread as soon as I know more."

Oh well, patience is a virtue, and good things come to he or she who waits (or builds one himself :) )

I have never "plonked", but I'm looking forward to it. I've got the "vapor" part under control, and now that I can taste things again, I'm after FLAVOR. Looking forward to experimenting with 6-8 ohm single coils; I'll report back.

I just got a notice today about the new Vivi Nova Mini;

These look great, can't find them anywhere in stock yet. I think someone did a COOP on them, missed that one.

(I decided not to buy any more equipment that is polycarb. Don't like the material AT ALL. I have 2 DCT tanks + boge cartos, a few vision clearos, and a few drip tip+ atty. (3 methods to start out with that I wanted to try.) When all that hardware bites the dust, I'll be looking for glass/stainless steel/ or another kind of plastic.

Hey Bullette, You should consider getting a drip shield.
I have been dripping almost exclusively while at home for the last week or 2.
Currently using an Empire Mods 1.7 ohm debridged 901 atomizer, switching flavors as I fancy.

With the drip shield, I haven't lost a drop yet.
If you drip in a bit too much the shield catches it. Vape a bit, then give it a quick hit to draw the juice back into the atty from the shield!

Darn it xbassman. Where were you last night when I was making that BIG order??? Do you think a dunkin donuts donut with chocolate frosting & sprinkles wrapped around the atomizer would do the trick to catch those drips?

1) Hi Sweetie! :)

2) PLEASE avoid co-ops like the plague. (And please don't ask me why I say that).

3) I have a line on Smoktech 3.5ml tanks with solid American-made 303 stainless steel end caps, American-made Pyrex tanks, and Viton O-rings.

mmm, I love donuts ..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-4P1WPE-Qg

I'm getting really close to getting me a twist. I've been analog free for over a year with v2 cigs 808 batteries. Just got sick of having to charge 4 batteries a day and finally went off and got me this kgo. Looks like i might be getting a new addition as well. I'm definitely going to be ordering some of the mini vivi novas. Should I get the 1.8 head for this KGO or go with the 2.4?

@Racehorse- The minis are in stock at Gotvapes. I think they just put them up the past couple days.
