My Buzz Classic has lost it's mind! I noticed my usual vape was a lot hotter and harsher than normal so I got my meter out and the crazy thing was reading 8 volts! Tested the batts and both read 4.1 fresh off the charger but put a different set in anyway. Buzz then metered 4.5, put my tank back on and first vape was hot again. Took the tank off, metered 8 volts again. Turned the pot screw down, tested and it metered 8.3?!?! Is my first born Buzz Classic kicking the bucket? :(

That's what I was thinking Ruppy. Believe it or not I didn't fry the carto so I put it on my beta BP to see if it might be the problem but it's vaping fine on the beta. Just metered the Classic again and it says 4.5 on both of my meters, but when I put a carto on it, it jumps over the moon!

Sounds like adding a load is making it do that. Ive never taken one apart to see how Mike is configuring the regulator so I cant really say why. If I saw I diagram I could lol. Have to wait for mike for a scientific explanation.

Or what mike said :p

I don't know of a regulator that works good with a bad ground. Good call Mike.

Just in case here's some holey water.

You didn't jinx it Pokey, it vaped right for about an hour after I tinkered with the ground screw last night and then went fritz again. I had already shut my computer down so I didn't post back until now.

Can't complain...I've had CB for almost a year and never had a single problem from it. I still have BP and beta BP at my side :)
