Verm, I'm quite mechanically inclined so working under the cap doesn't scare me But after my inspection I do believe it is going to have to go back to Mike. I was hoping to avoid that since I'm financially deprived atm

Bo work the ground screw and the one on the battery cap back and forth and then tighten them up good. Plus you already know to make sure the wire undr the top cap is tight.

I have read many tips and tricks posted here that have worked and helped me to avoid sending my Buzz in though so I do appreciate access to the info

DAMN ! Bov I think it is the ground screw , OK try this remove the screw take a sharp knife ( xacto etc. ) and scrape around the hole to remove any anodizing then screw it back together and see it that works ! this will make a nice CLEAN contact for the screw .

I had a bit of scare with my BP last night. Took the top cap off, checked ground, checked for liquid build up. Turns out it was a just a bad set of batts. Whew! I seriously don't want to go back to my old mod.

I'll try that Mike. It has become repossessed again after I threatened to decapitate it! I'm pretty sure you are right that it's the ground screw since it behaves for an hour or 2 after I mess with the screw.

Now back to my haunted Buzz...Mike I took the screw out and did as you said. Metered 4.3, 4.3, I wiggled it and it jumped to 8.2, wiggled it again and it's still 8.2 so there must be something loose in there (besides the screw in my head)
