Kauai. HI
I added a little bling to mine. It's just a Swarovski crystal. Probably not a look a man would enjoy, but I like it. :)

Hi Spazmelda. just curious. Are you using your cartos with the wrapper still on? Or is only the exposed portion wrapped.
Cheers :vapor::vapor::vapor:

It's painted or something. It's not paper. I tried to get the coating off with goof off, but it didn't come off. I figured if it didn't come off with goof off, it would be okay. I will order some uncoated metal ones next time so that I don't have to worry about it, but so far they seem fine.

ok here is what i did - take a smokteck clearo dual coil and replace the orignal crappy tube with a 3ml BD (brand is important here) syringe tube the same exact way that you would for a ce2. just be sure not to disturb the batting and what not when you switch the tube. once its done and sized with the drip tip and you like it THEN drill the holes in the side and add the tank on top of that. like in Nails mod the syringe tube is bigger then the carto so you need to adjust the hole in the seals. the end result is that once its done it never has to be taken it apart. when the carto gets funky i pull it out of the bd tube and pitch it. pull the clear tube off a new smoketech dualie and stick it in there. in my avi pic the metal looking part is just a 1/4" piece of carto tube cramed into the syringe tube to tighten up the fit of the drip tip (i didnt use bd brand inside this one and its loose)

Ok, that sounds awesome. I'm challenged in the visualizing department. Wish there were pics or video.

look at my avi pic - its that tank - inside tube is 3ml syringe instead of the orignal carto tube. instead of changing the carto i just change the guts. i can maybe try take better pic this weekend after my eye gets better (heh got an ulcer on my left eye so just running on one for a min)

Hope your eye gets better. My son just recovered from the same thing!

I haven't read this entire thread so sorry if this has already been suggested.. but wouldn't a band saw cut the syringes a lot easier than pipe cutters? Not that I would actually go out and spend the money on a band saw but if you already have access to one. (Hey! I do!) I'm not too interested in making this cause I like bottom feeding but I just thought I'd throw this idea out there.

I'm looking forward to making my FIRST syringe mod. I have all the stuff, syringes, tubing cutter and hopefully enough information to make one, now I just need to get started. I can tell from reading the forum that I will need to make more than one because of the different lengths of carto's. I Will make one to see how it works, then make another. These mods should work very good and help with keeping carto's moist longer so they don't burn so quickly. Im thinking when I get some time to go to the hardware store and see if the have something neat and small that will work for a seal if I drill a hole in the side of the syringe to fill it.

Good idea, I have thought about that. What do YOU think is a good way to do it??

Well, if it takes 3ml, put 3ml of fluid in a 5-10ml syringe, insert into tank, first pull syringe plunger up to 4ml (causing a vacuum in bottle) then push only 1ml of fluid back in, bringing the tank back to atmospheric pressure. Pull/push/pull/push/pull/push several times, vacuum first then fluid. Make sure you keep the tank upright and the syringe pointing down during the process.

Yes, you definitely don't want to put pressure in the tank, you want to replace air with liquid, without effecting pressure in tank.

Well, that's my unedumacated 2 cents LOL
